Great read

So, I have been waiting to read this book for a while now but decided to watch the movie first. I didn’t like the movie but thought hey the book is always better right? Well how wrong I was. I didn’t like the book either.I found it so slow and dull. It didn’t draw me in and I struggled to finish the book. For me the characters were boring and they aren’t given names, which I found weird.  The story was boring and I was generally very disappointed in the way the book developed and how it ended. I know that there are two more books to this series, and they will probably answer some of the questions that I had about what I read in the book but I don’t know if I want to carry on with the series as this book has put me off the rest of the series.I know some people who have read this book and absolutely loved it and give it 5 out of 5, but I can’t give it that rating as then I would be lying you and to myself

Enjoyable enough to read the next one in the series but not enthralling; science fiction isn't my go to genre though so recommend that you read and decide for yourself
