The Hewlee Propress Tool Gets The Job Done
I ordered my Hewlee copper propress tool with multiple jaw attachments to crimp propress fittings ranging from 1/2" to 1-1/2". The tool arrived within a couple of days. The tool came nicely packaged in a case that also contained a battery charger, two batteries, and 4 sets of criming jabs. I have used the tool several times and it works great. I have used it for some large projects and the batteries last a long time. I have neve had to change batteries mid project. This is a well made tool. It has more than enough power to crimp fittings over 1". This tool takes a fraction of the time it would otherwise take to pipe in a system the traditional metod of sweating pipes and fittings together.

Great tool for the Job.
Great product. Easy to use. Attachments allow for all the diameter pipes in my house. No more difficult pipe sweating and torch flames. Crimps easily and properly the first time. Gets into tight places that were nearly impossible with a torch.

Good for the money
Good-quality tool for the money.Straight version is powerful, a little on a heavy side, yet comfortable to use with one hand. Versatile design and fits in many places.Battery lasts well through the day's use. Great to have 4 jaws.

It is heavy!!! And the jaws are too big to fit in tight spaces
The media could not be loaded. Just to be clear, I am not a plumber, but I am not completely unfamiliar with the tool. I have used once or twice from a friend of mine but I just don’t use it a lot. So I am sharing this review from a DIY perspective.First of all, the machine pressed the fittings, as well as the Milwaukee, or the rigid press tool would have done, I did a few test presses on a few fittings before I proceeded to use it for any permanent applications. Here are a few things to consider if you want to get this particular tool:1) it is very, very heavy. It is about twice or more than twice the weight of a comparable, Milwaukee, or rigid tool, so, if you’re using it in tight spaces, it would be cumbersome to carry or bring, along other fittings and tools necessary to do a job. I tried it on a crawlspace job that only gave me 18 to 20 inches of clearance so you can imagine dragging along almost 20 pounds of tool fittings other necessary tools across a very narrow crawlspace.2) The jaws of the press tool was bulky so again with tight spaces. It’s very difficult for you to be able to clamp the fittings with the head before pressing so you have to get creative with some of the positions that will allow you to have a proper press so I don’t imagine working on in wall pipes without breaking a larger area of the wall.3) the length of the tool is a lot longer than other pro press tools so again, with tight spaces like a crawlspace being creative in the position is how you will be able to perform a proper press4) is there is no safety lock or the press button so if you are carrying it along and accidentally pressed the button, it will activate just slightly but since there is no lock to the button, you may accidentally depress it to the point that something gets pinched with the jaws or something like that, because the button gets pressedOverall, if you are using the tool with enough clearance like outdoors or open spaces, then value for the money. It’s the best bang for the buck.If you are using it in tight space application, you have to get creative in how to maneuver yourself into getting the jaws and the tool position so that you can do a proper press and in terms of build quality and usability, it is heavy, so I assume that it has very robust components, and it did work very well

Great Product! Works just as well as name brand crimpers!
The short and sweet version is: its a great product, works just as well as the super expensive name brand options. It works well to crimp copper fittings. To do pex you would need to purchase additional jaws. This tool uses full size Ridge brand jaws if you need a specific jaw, but it comes with enough copper crimping jaws to do most jobs. If you have used Makita tools in the past the battery and charger will be very familiar with you, and that's a good thing since you can use any existing Makita batteries/chargers you may have with this as well.My tool came with Chinese as the default language, but after some back and forth with after sales support they gave me excellent instructions on how to change it to English. I believe they posted a video showing the process to the product page now.Overall, its a well made design. It crimps copper fittings without any leakages. Both the jaws it comes with and Ridged brand jaws fit it very well. I would both recommend this product and buy it again if I had to!

Time saving. Great value
I purchased this product for my small plumbing business after researching several that were similar at much higher cost. We have since used it multiple times and it works amazing. It has saved us valuable time which we all know equals money saved. I highly recommend.

Very heavy
Looks like a good tool and less expensive than the Rigid or Milwaukee, but it's too heavy for me, especially if I need to work overhead. I'm 67 years old and have had carpal tunnel and rotator cuff injury. I thought this would make it easier, but it didn't. The kit weighs 38 lbs, and the tool with battery and 1 inch jaw is 13 lbs. The other issue is that it's not balanced for one hand use. I think a stronger person, but I wouldn't say it's a one hand tool.
