These cameras are fantastic. I was looking for something to replace a baby monitor that no longer worked and was versatile. They are very easy to install and use. I recommend getting the brackets you can get with these to mount on the wall. You scan your phone or device to sync with the camera. So anyone coming in or near your home can not gain access to the device without putting a scan code on the device and then holding it directly in front of the camera. I really like this feature. Then you can see the camera from your device anywhere! I check on my kids after they go to bed and can even see them if I go out with my husband and the kids are with a sitter. The camera has a slight fish eye lens which allows you to see a very wide angle of the room. This is great because one camera can see what you would normally need multiple for. Also while in the app hold your phone up and move around and the view from your camera moves with the phone. You can also zoom in and out and the night vision is crystal clear.

I have a previous version of the Yi 1080p camera so I felt confident in adding a few more to our home.Likes - No subscription needed to monitor. I use a 32gb SD card. Last for months in surveillance mode. Very clear image. Sound quality is great as well. Night vision is ok, not great, not horribleDislikes - The camera is very sensitive, even at the lowest detection setting.

Got these cameras to use as baby monitor. They work really well, the picture quality is great, and the app is easy to use.I did knock one star off because they only alert you if there's motion, not sound.

Ordered one camera and one so I got it was so impressed with the clarity of the camera and easy to use ordered a couple more. I mainly use them to watch my dogs but now also use to watch around my house when I’m not at home. Wide angle on the lens would highly recommend !!!

Great cams, howevvvver...the app is less than acceptable. Notifications are only transferred to the app when opening it, multiple users agree and report this issue as well. When engaging with the Yi Home support peeps they seem very robotic in their responses, it's almost as if they are kids supporting the product, verrry unprofessional and to be frank, embarrassing. Worthless support, don't even try to complain as they say the same thing almost every time.

I wanted to love this cameras. The price isn’t awful and the views were decent. But I dislike that they are not wireless and the chords they give you are way to short to work with. On top of that they are awful at night. The night vision hardly works and instead flashes all the time which is obnoxious. The motion detection is delayed so not helpful at all. The iCloud subscription is a waste of money. I’ve sent “feedback” with no response. Unfortunately I’m past the window doe return so I’m out of my money and now need to purchase new cameras with better quality and customer service.

Recently we had someone try to brake into one of the neighbors house on are street so we got it for. Home security. I love how clear the pictures are and how easy it is to use. Also I have a puppy (9 months) and it lets me interact with him when I’m not home. It’s great for keeping a eye on your puppies.

Setup was really easy. Image quality is good, both day and night. (Those with problems with night vision, don't put it behind a glass... no camera works that way)... But the Audio... I don't know what happened, I think it was the latest firmware update (8.2.0.0A_2020072111802), because it was working fine (not great), but after the update, all I hear is NOISE, NOISE and more NOISE!... please UPDATE the firmware again to fix that problem... I can't hear anything anymore!! I noticed that anytime you turn on the Audio on the app, it starts the noise, because if you reset the device and it is saving to the cloud, you can hear audio fine, but as soon as you turn on audio on the app, the noise starts and even you can hear noise of what is saved in the cloud. Please Fix it! It is a great product for the price!!
