Think this is one of the best security consoles. Had one for many years and it served reliably as long as batteries in peripherals were changed in less than a year.Easy setup if you read enclosed directions carefully. An important tip: Cover the upper part of any motion detector with a black sock till the installation is completed.Recommend this economical and trouble free unit to any DIY guy interested.

Learned a lesson!
The item did not work. I have two other units so it is not a matter of not knowing how it is suppose to work. There were a few other items in the package so I am not returning the item figuring it wasn't a complete loss. However, I will never order a used item again! Learned a lesson. I have already ordered a new console for the system. It's not worth repacking and returning the used item.
