Does not stain
It works well and leaves a nice smell. This did not stain my carpet or leave and marks. can't say much about carpet cleaning as it's due to the machine. but this item works better than the other products that I have tried.

This works great, got the carpet incredibly clean.ENSURE THE AREA IS VENTILATED! I used a large concentration amount (within the range of the instructions), and it triggered my asthma a little and the smell was quite chemically.However, it did the job great!
