I recently lost my edc knife (a spyderco dragonfly 2 salt series) and was in the market for a new one. Unfortunately they don't make those anymore. I've heard great things about civivi, but never got around to buying one. After several coworkers who carry civivi knives vouched for them, I finally decided to give this brand a try. So far I am far from disappointed. They clearly have quality control down. The knife comes in a nice zippered case and razor sharp. Smooth and quick opening action. The button lock is a nice feature. Thin and lite, but sturdy. I barely remember it's clipped to my back pocket, which is deep carry btw. It gives more expensive knives a good run for the money. Definitely more bang for less of your hard earned buck. I was also recently gifted a civivi baby banter and I can't say enough good things about that one either. Needless to say, I've been made a fan of these knives.

Great creation by Civivi. This knife is perfectly engineered and built...it's an EDC dream. It's so light, flickable and fidgety. Blade is super slicey due to it's shape, size and grind of the 14C28N steel. Size is in the Goldilocks zone...not too big but not too small either. The button lock works flawlessly with no stick and the action is so smooth and buttery. The thin aluminum scales fit my hand and pocket so comfortably. Value is off the charts as it easily compares to some of the more expensive knives in my collection. There's not much bad to say about this knife. I would get rid of the 'bottle opener' only because I don't use it and don't care for the look of it when closed. And I also wish they had some other color choices. Those are the only nitpicks I can come up with but they are far from deal breakers. I usually have duplicates of the favorite knives in my collection and this is definitely one of my favorites. However I only have one because I don't find any of the other colors attractive. I have the all black version and it is spectacular. Now if they offered a titanium colored handle with a satin blade it would quickly be my second Qubit.

I have it for two years. Beautiful and handy. Open and close nicely. The Con is that I need to sharpen it way too often.... Why......

1) smooth handle - feels good, but may be difficult to control if wet 2) The blade release button requires an odd angle and a lot of pressure to engage. That's fine for closing the blade, but awkward when opening. 3) Mine was missing a screw for the pocket clip. 4) The blade shape is a user preference and seemed to be robust and sharp right out of the box. 5) The pivot is very smooth. 6) For me, these issues at the price point were just too much, and I returned it.
