I'm not sure what the good reviews are here. maybe I got a defective unit but after a week the tank is a quarter of the way full and the rooms humidity is averaging 80 percent. I currently have a midea from Costco that's an ac and dehumidifier. What this puts out in a week the midea does in 1.5 hours. I was really hoping this would work as I wanted to save money on using the midea one all the time or even using in conjunction with it. The fact you cant turn up the speed of the fan, set the humidity level is definitely interesting. Really wanted to like it but if its really rated for a 1000 sqft don't know why it can't do a 200 sqft bedroom.

I use this in the secondary basement storage area and so far it’s worked great. It’s not a big one, but works well for a smaller room or a bedroom. The digital display is great. I keep a hose attached so it drains into the sink but it has an auto shutoff too. It’s very modern looking and would be nice in a main living area without being an eye sore. It’s really quite quiet. It has made a noticeable difference.

I am knocking two points because there is no way to control the humidity level. If you like it dry at 35-40% or slightly humid at 60-70% this does not give you an option unlike nearly every other dehumidifier on the market. I wish I knew that before buying or else I would never had gotten this one. The exact wording on the instruction manual says when the relative humidity is less then or equal to 40%, the machine stops dehumidifying, but the fan continues to run; when the relative humidity is greater then or equal to 55% the machine continues to dehumidify. Why not just set your comfort level and having it maintain that level like every other one I have even owned? For my use I would give it one star (want my basement storage very dry to protect board games/papers/ect...), but since most peoples comfort level is around 55% this may be a five star product for them. Hence three stars.

I hate to write a bad review but I don’t want anyone else to purchase this item. I was very skeptical of the bad reviews because there are an overwhelming amount of positive ones but now I’m regretting not listening to them. I had this dehumidifier running for days and it didn’t collect a single drop of water! I even put it in the bathroom while I was showering and it still collected nothing. I purchased a slightly more expensive one from target and it pulled buckets of water from the air within hours of plugging it in. This dehumidifier is just absolutely not worth the price.

I’ve been using this dehumidifier for a few days now, and I’m impressed! This dehumidifier is perfect for larger spaces.The 118 oz water tank means I don’t have to empty it constantly, and the option to connect the drain hose is really convenient for continuous operation specially for humidity levels such as Florida!The timer function and humidity percentage are also very useful. I love being able to set it to run only when needed, and seeing the humidity levels helps me understand how well it’s working. Another big plus is how quiet it is – I barely notice it running, even at night!I live in Florida.

This dehumidifier is excellent! It works perfectly in my 1000 sq. ft. space and has a large 118 oz water tank, so I don't have to empty it often. The humidity display and timer are super convenient, and the silent mode is truly quiet. The included drain hose is a great bonus. Highly recommend for home or basement use!

It's listed as up to 1000 square feet capacity. Way overestimated. It's good for small spaces, nowhere near 1000 square feet.
