These are great, it’s the second time I’ve got these and I’ll buy a few more soon. It easily adds a display to your esp32 project no fuss no muss. Not to speak of the WiFi and Bluetooth, those are great of course but it’s the little oled display built in that makes it useful for adding sensors and stuff and extra easy

I am very pleased with this little computer. I bought it to build an interface to a guitar amp modeler. It came with the pins soldered, fit exactly in the carrier I have for it, worked with the software, looks good. And didn't make me wait, very fast delivery.

Great little boards. If you are planning to use them for Micropython, you can use the generic Esp32 image, but you must set the flash method to "Dual IO" (DIO). Also, the display driver does not come stock with the esp32 Micropython Kernel, so you must add the ssd1306 library via Thonny's package manager. I am running the display with hardware i2c, and it works great. The other disadvantage of these boards is that due to the extra width because of the display, they will not fit into a breadboard in the normal fashion. You need to attach two breadboards together side-by-side and then let this board straddle the two power busses in the middle. I feel this disadvantage is more than made up for by having the integrated display, though.

I recently got my hands on the Ideaspark ESP32 Development Board, which comes with an integrated 0.96 inch OLED display, and I am really impressed! The OLED screen is a fantastic addition, providing clear and immediate feedback for my projects, which is especially useful for real-time data monitoring. The board supports WiFi and BLE functionalities, making it extremely versatile for any Arduino or MicroPython applications. The CH340 driver ensures smooth communication, and the pre-soldered pin headers made setup a breeze. The integration of the Micro USB also enhances its convenience. For anyone looking into serious DIY electronics or IoT projects, this board offers great value with its rich features and ease of use. Highly recommended!

After seeing several negative reviews, I almost did not buy it, but then decided I would try it. I followed a YouTube tutorial. Using the built-in examples, they worked. I was able to modify the built-in example and get them to work. I have some experience with Arduino. I like this device and will consider it for future projects.
