I have another name brand stamping tool and I love it. I bought this tool because I really liked the idea of being able to set one up more easily with the multi layer stamps that are now a big thing and this tool was much more reasonably priced. If you like stamping multi layers, this one is for you. One review said the stamping part sits "loosely" and can wiggle a little on the pegs, I didn't find this. The only suggestion I would make is that you really don't need the second large stamping plate, one is more than enough. I would recommend and I did get the smaller plate for just regular sentiments, it's just smaller and easier to store and use. If you are looking for a nice stamping platform, I highly recommend this one

Love this product! Thought about it for several years didn’t know if I wanted to spend the money,it is great buy. Works just as it should ,has improved the quality of my stamping greatly.

I teach 4th grade and l am always on the lookout for new crafts to teach to my students. This precision stamping tool is perfect. ...The design is simple and sturdy. No hinges to snap off. ...The steps to create a perfect image are simple. ...The process is much less messy than handling rubber stamps with wooden backing. Students can all make the same design without ever touching the inked stamp. ...Overall a perfect way to introduce students to the craft of printing designs. I love it! Only con is that the center of the image does not always stamp clearly. I fixed mine by gluing a piece of plastic to the bottom so the center of the press made better contact. Easy fix

I was very upset when I saw the actual size when it arrived. I have been card making for 15 years & could never afford a Misti I have tried a number of others including Tim Holtz but they never quite worked for me. About 4 years ago I purchased an 8x8 Crafters Companion which solved all my problems. It comes with 4 good quality & easy to use magnets but unfortunately the piece that the stamp adheres to has fragile spring & plastic legs which are great for quality stamping but are fragile to store. After 4 years one of my legs was broken & made the platform useless. I have have frequently found We R Memory Keepers products disappointing in the past but when I got past the size descrepancy I found this platform preformed perfectly when I used it with a stamp that required 4 separate layers of stamping & the spongy feet seem to be durable. The platform is 6x6 so if that size is adequate I highly recommend it.

I am really enjoying this stamp positioning tool. I couldn't see paying the huge price of the NAME brand positioner but for twenty bucks I thought I'd give this a shot to enhance my stamping experience. I'm glad I did. No, it doesn't have a hinge but in some aspects that is a plus not a negative. It is easy and simple to take off the block ink the stamp and fit it right back on the platform again and again if the first impression isn't perfect. The block can also be used alone if need be. It comes with 2 strong magnets, clear block, magnetized platform and foam pad. The pad as well as the block have grids to help in alignment. If you are on the fence about if this is a helpful tool or not, my opinion is YES!

OMGoodness - I ordered this from Amazon...and received THREE...I am not sure that's correct. The cost was about $27.40 for one...but I received three. LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Had something similar YEARS ago...and this is even better!!!

Negatives first. I expected a lot since this is a well known paper crafting product, but the magnets provided broke when they dropped out of the packaging. And although the description shows stamping at different positions it’s not really true, there is only one way to place the top clear piece and that’s squarely straight on, not what I needed or wanted. The stamps I used were basic low grade stamps so I expected imperfections. But when I re-inked the flowers and tried to double stamp for a darker image it blurred because the (broken) magnets don’t help. I had hopes that this would accommodate different stamp thicknesses better than the hinge style, it will for a one shot deal, multiple of the same I worry about. Positives- it is a large stamp block that I can use on its own for my larger clear cling stamps. The base is magnetic so I’m sure I can find a use for it, maybe to layout a project with better magnets before I glue it together. The rubber “feet” on the corners does aid in keeping even pressure and not smearing when use on its own. I’m a junk artist so I will keep this and make it work in my own way I used StazOn ink to stamp with because of the gold packaging and envelope window.

My mini MISTI is too small for some stamps and cardstock, and I low-key hate my Tim Holtz stamp platform, so I've been exploring other options, most of which are expensive. I ran across this one and decided to try it, despite being unsure if it could handle 6x6 stamps. It handled a 6x6 cling stamp beautifully. It barely fit, but it DID fit. I got a perfectly-stamped impression with it. Next, I tried it with a brand-new (unconditioned) clear stamp. Again, I got a perfect impression. Unless you need a stamp platform that can handle something bigger than 6x6, there is no reason, IMO, to spend $70-$100 on the other ones on the market. This thing works!
