Worked fine while it lasted for all of 3 weeks. Both plates decided to detach themselves. Poor QC.

The product works great, my wife is very happy with how her hair looks after he use the flat iron. The bad thing about this product is that it only lasted 8 months and stopped working. We have bough professional flat irons before and this has been the one that has lasted the least.

Hasn’t even been a year and it will not stay on. It heats up and right when I pick it up it shuts off. It has Never been dropped.

Good straightener and perfect for traveling abroad

Have to hit the on button SEVERAL times before it actually turns on. Never know if this will be the time that it does not cut on. Glider less than 30 days old & already malfunctioning. Nice when it actually cuts on, but paid too much money for a NEW glider not to turn on when button is pressed.

I’ve been using it on average once per week for the last two and a half years to curl my hair. It has served me well during that time. I have mostly straight, fine and dense hair that doesn’t hold a curl well. This straightener did the trick! Sadly, I plugged it in yesterday and it failed to heat at all. The digital display works and says it’s on and heating up, but the plates no longer change temperature. It wasn’t damaged, exposed to water; it was sitting in a drawer. I’m very disappointed. I didn’t buy it to get two years of good use. I bought it to last a lot longer than that. I cannot stand how disposable products are these days.

The sides catch my hair and pull it out. It also does not leave my hair looking as shiny as the original Chi flat iron does. I would not recommend this product.

This was the first "quality" flat iron I purchased for my wife. In the past I always bought the "cheap" flat irons at the competing local stores. I thought this time I would test out the principle of "quantity vs. quality". I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She absolutely loves it and now she has a hard time keeping it at her vanity as our daughters take it and use it often as well!
