CAT Footwear Sheffield, Men's Safety Boots

I bought a pair of these when I was 18 and they lasted up till I was 33,obviously not every day wear, but they did take a kicking and kept on ticking .I don't mind paying money for something that lasts and the cat brand is well known for durability, these boots are no different.Excellent quality , taking a while to wear in but no blisters just a bit of rubbing , can drive in them from day one.Fits well , I ordered a size smaller and they are perfect but I knew to order smaller .Can't fault these boots

I purchased these as a replacement to my old ones which I have had for nearly 10 years!! I don't wear them all the time, I am a builder/roofer so every job I do I am in different conditions but they are sturdy & warm and offer all the protection I need.They are comfortable straight out of the box & are generously sized. I am a size 10 and you can wear thicker socks withought them feeling too tight.

These are a great pair of boots. I've had several pairs over many years and they are a good strong comfortable boot.I do a lot of outside work and knowing you have have steel toe caps gives you that added protection.Have tried other makes but have always come back to these for comfort and quality.

I love cat boots very hard wearing , n treated myself , they are lovely , great to walk in , hits my goth buttons as i can wear new rocks in cerain situations , driveing etc , but these are briĺliant

I have always chosen CAT boots for workwear as they are well made, robust and comfortable right from the first wear. However it now seems impossible to find these boots in anything other than a wide fitting which is not what I would prefer. They are still my preferred choice as even marginally big they are comfortable enough. Two pairs of socks helps. Can't help feeling that they would be perfect in a standard width though.

After about a month of wearing these to work, I feel I'm able to give a proper review.My previous pair of boots were composite toecaps. In comparison, these boots are ridiculously heavy. This is normal for CAT boots, in my experience; they build their workboots like their bulldozers. This is both good and bad; the weight brings stability, but you're liable to twist or sprain your ankle if you trip over something. Or forget to pick your feet up when stepping over things.I have no issues with the grip whatsoever. Polished floors, varying degrees of concrete, no problem whatsoever except on sheet ice. However, the wide sole coupled with the cleats has torn my work trousers.The upper is another story. The cushioning around the top took a couple of weeks to wear in, and bruised my ankles heavily in the process. My feet were perfectly comfortable, however, enclosed in a steel-armoured cocoon of comfort.The leather on top of the toes has worn HEAVILY, being caught between things I've dropped and the steel toecap itself. I'm tempted to just cover them in a layer of duct tape to deal with this before it punctures the weatherproofing.The weatherproofing itself is fine. Water is not permitted inside, even after accidentally emptying a bucket of water over my foot.

Cat replaced for free and the 2nd pair lasted a bit longer. Then I bought Englebert Strauss S5 boots and never looked back. So much better and I got 5 years working as a mechanic from my first pair, my second pair are 2 years in and still as good as new.Get Strauss’s they cost a bit more but they last longer, they’re lighter and so much more comfortable

Third time I have purchased a pair of these shoes.I purchase size 11 but I would normally say that I am a 10 or 10.5.I would say the fit is perfect.Lovely shoes and will last depending on the amount of work that you are undertaking.

sehr lange habe ich nach Ersatz für meine alten Caterpillar Sicherheitsstiefel gesucht und sie hier endlich gefunden! Aus irgendeinem Grund war ich überzeugt ich hätte das Modell "Second Shift", aber diese Boots gleichen meinen alten aufs Haar.Tragekomfort und GrößeDie Stiefel sind für mich super bequem - ich hatte keine nennenswerte Einlaufphase. Sie fallen im Vergleich zu anderen Stiefeln relativ groß aus ("Wide width" laut Etikett in der Lasche). Man kann aber bedenkenlos in der eigenen Größe bestellen. weil man dann z.B. sehr komfortabel dicke Wollsocken darin tragen kann, und ohne sind sie dennoch keineswegs zu groß. Die Schnürung lässt sich in beiden Richtungen sehr gut anpassen und die Schnürsenkel sind auf jeden Fall ausreichend lang. Auf den Fotos wirken die neuen Stiefel zwar optisch einen kleinen Tick größer, aber das mag aufgrund der Verformung des alten Stiefels täuschen.HaltbarkeitWas die Haltbarkeit betrifft, kann ich mich natürlich nur in Bezug auf meine alten Stiefel äußern: Diese habe ich sage und schreibe 15 Jahre lang (!) gehabt, bis ich mich endlich dazu entschlossen habe mir mal ein neues Paar zuzulegen. Ich möchte noch hinzufügen, daß die alten Stiefel prinzipiell durchaus immer noch tragbar sind (!) Die Neuanschaffung erfolgte eher aus ästhetischen Gesichtspunkten - zahlreiche Geocaching-Touren bei jedem Wetter und durch jedes nur denkbare Gelände (Stock und Stein, Schneematsch, Kletterei durch Industrieruinen und alte Bunkeranlagen) hatten den alten Tretern optisch dann doch ein wenig zugesetzt... (siehe Fotos "Alt vs. Neu" - Danke für 15 Jahre treue Dienste!). Irgendwann bildet sich im Leder eine Falte, wo das Obermaterial durch die Abrollbewegung beim Gehen gestaucht wird, und auf derselben Achse kann die Sohle dann auch brechen - selbst bei meinen "Oldies" ist die Sohle aber noch nicht vollends durchgebrochen (siehe Fotos).Sicherheit / SchutzEs handelt sich um zertifizierte Arbeitssicherheitsstiefel - kein Wunder also, daß sie die hierfür erforderlichen Mindestanforderungen erfüllen. Sie bieten mit ihren massiven und rutschfesten Sohlen eine ausgesprochen hohe Trittsicherheit in schwierigem Gelände bei gleichzeitig sehr hohem Tragekomfort, von dem sich einige "Wanderstiefel" durchaus mal eine Scheibe abschneiden könnten... Die Schuhe haben weiterhin Stahlkappen, die mir in all den Jahren tatsächlich die ein- oder andere schmerzhafte Erfahrung, wenn nicht gar schwere Verletzung erspart haben (...) Einziger Nachteil ist natürlich das höhere Gewicht, und daß man bei der Sicherheitskontrolle am Flughafen "Schuhauszieh-Garantie" hat... Die Schuhe bieten von sich aus bereits einen ausreichenden Schutz gegen Nässe. Natürlich sind sie nicht wasserdicht, aber wenn man sie entsprechend behandelt kommt man hier sehr nahe dran. Ich präpariere sie immer mit "SnowSeal" auf Bienenwachsbasis (mit einem Fön verflüssigt aufgetragen) wodurch die Stiefel einen sehr guten Schutz gegen Durchfeuchtung erhalten (auch bei längeren Wanderungen durch Schnee, Matsch und Regen) und quasi "unzerstörbar" werden.Tja, was soll ich sagen - ich bin eben ein echter Fan von diesen Dingern, deshalb fällt meine Bewertung naturgemäß sehr einseitig aus. Vielleicht hilft sie trotzdem Dir den letzten Ruck zu geben und Dich eine Entscheidung treffen zu lassen. In diesem Sinne: "Bis bald im Wald!" 😎👍

Sono scarponi da lavoro ma io li uso anche come calzatura "normale".I primi giorni, nonostante calzino leggermente abbondanti, mi hanno causato qualche fastidio al collo del piede perché lo scarpone deve ammobidirsi. Resistendo, piano piano si è assestato ed ora sono molto confortevoli. Ovviamente non sono dei mocassini e dovete calcolare il peso dello scarpone con placca anti-schiacciamento, quindi non lo consiglierei per fare lunghe passeggiate.Comunque è una calzatura robusta e ben fatta e si vede da subito. Se riuscirete a resistere i primi giorni si rvelerà una grande calzatura da lavoro e non solo!

portées toute la journée depuis ce matin pour faire des courses - donc pas mal de marche - j'ai des pieds très sensibles - j'ai mis deux paires de chaussettes l'une sur l'autre - un confort exceptionnel - l'impression d'avoir les pieds à l'abri de tout événement désagréable - vraiment un super produit et esthétiquement très design - je recommande à 200% surtout à ce prix imbattable si on regarde dans les magasins proches de chez moi et même sur Internetaprès plusieurs semaines d'utilisation, je confirme que c'est un très bon produittrès confortables

Le scarpe sono arrivate in anticipo,come al solito Amazon non si smentisce. Grazie ai ragazzi che hanno scritto le recensioni ho potuto prendere la misura corretta perché io portò 44 però ho ordinato 43 che mi vengono una meraviglia. Le scarpe al mio parere sono buonissime e bellissime ( comode, antinfortunistiche e fanno anche una bella figura). Io sono contento
