My wife and I have an ice maker that has been on the fritz, so until we get a new one I purchased this water filter pitcher as a fill-in. Well, it could not have worked out better, and now we plan to make it a permanent part of our lives. We fill it up every night before bedtime and store it in the refrigerator, which is very convenient because it fits perfectly on the refrigerator door with the pitcher handle sticking out a little bit beyond the shelf without impeding the door from shutting. The water is delicious, and the filters last for several months and are very easy to replace. Online ordering was easy, there was no charge for shipping with our Prime membership, and delivery was fast and convenient. This is a great product for the price!

I’ve used a few water filter pitchers over the years, but this Brita model stands out because of one key design feature: the top reservoir doesn’t overfill and leak into the lower tank like many others I’ve tried. That alone makes a big difference in everyday use. The lid fits snugly and the fill hole is wide enough to make refilling quick and mess-free. What I really like is that when I pour in water, I don’t have to stand there and wait for the filter to catch up just to avoid spillage. It only allows water to pass through when there’s room below, which keeps things clean and avoids overflows. Due to having crappy water quality, we use the refrigerator water dispenser for ourselves and our dogs, as well as making our own ice cubes because the water quality stinks too bad even with the fridge filter to use those. Being able to just pour water into this from the faucet has been a lifesaver. You can absolutely tell a difference in the quality of the ice as well. Cleaner and with less calcification, etc that holds the ice to the silicone molds. So glad I bought this even though I was tentative about it

I bought these to replace a Brita Pithcer that is probably a decade and a half old (and still works, but has some cracks developing.) I was skepitcal at the newer design at first but after using it for weeks, I've discovered I appreciate it. All that remains is the test of time. BTW, I don't use these for drinking water. Brita filters have proven adequate for filtering the walter I use in my humidifiers during the winter, and much less expensive than using distilled water. Depending upon the water in your area, your experience and mileage may vary.

I’m very happy with the Bita water filter and, also purchased the water bottles. I was tired of buying bottles and jugs of water, this is easier, economical and better for the environment.
