Medallion Chenille Bedspread

I really like this blanket! It's very large, even for a king size, so if you have a low sitting bed, beware of the blanket touching the floor. It is very thin, but it's wonderful quality and texture. I bought this to be used as a top sheet, but it could easily be a great blanket for those who tend to run hot at night. The pattern is very pretty. I bought the blush color and it is very pastel, which I love. If you're looking for warmth, I'd pair another blanket with it, it is very light. All in all, it's wonderful. I put a picture of what it looks like under white light, my lamps are very orange.

Old fashion charm, classic look! Yes the material is thin, however, this is exactly what I want. I layer sheets and blankets and bedspreads to get the warmth I need no matter the season. I have pets who get on the bed and sleep with me. I can easily take this bedspread off and wash and dry it in my home machines. I used to get the thick luxury comforters and quickly found to my dismay that I could not fit them into my washing machine. I would have to take them to the laundromat which was a huge inconvenience . Especially since I like to wash it at least once a month or oftener due to the pets. As I was putting this bedspread on my bed this morning it brought back memories of my childhood and my grandma and her chenille bedspread. I love it and would buy again. I chose white which looks so clean and crisp but it also comes in many other colors.

ABSOLUTELY beautiful. The queen fit my bed perfectly, fringe touches the floor which is what I wanted but it does not "drag" the floor. This is my 2nd one of the spreads, changed color for a "change" and the yellow is beautiful. Pretty and bright but not dazzling so that it takes over the rest of the decor. I have no idea what the lint issue is in the reviews. I took it out of the box, put it on air/fluff in the dryer and when I took it out there was must a smidgeon of lint in the vent. I love these bedspreads .... they are somewhat lightweight, check the lbs in the description, which for me makes them so much more comfortable and easy cheesy to make the bed.

I really love this comforter - it feels so classy and comfortable and it makes me very happy to look at! The shedding I haven’t found to be a big deal, after washing a couple of times. The size is great, the king is huge which I love considering my husband always steals the covers :) value for money is good in my opinion, it is thin but that is how these blankets are - it’s nice and light for the summer, and is great with a quilt on top in the winter. Only one star removal due to the color - the burgundy is very much red and not the color I was hoping for, but everything else about it is so good I don’t mind. I found with a quilt on top and some decorative pillows it helps it to not look quite so much like a boudoir 😂

I had to write this review because I rely heavily on other people's reviews. That said, I'll begin by saying that I just received my chenille bedspread and I'm 100% happy with my purchase. I smiled hugely when I opened the box because, although I was slightly anxious when I ordered it because of the reviews that dealt with size and thickness (or thinness), I knew immediately that I had made the right decision. (1) This is truly a vintage-inspired bedspread -- just like Grammy used to have. I was slightly concerned because the picture makes it look puffy. It's not. (2) It's thin but not in a cheap way. You can see through the non-embellished parts to the same degree you can see through quality, unlined, white linen pants. If you're not wearing a leopard print thong underneath, you're fine. (Ladies, you know what I'm talking about.) One of the pictures shows my hand under the bedspread, so you can see for yourself. (3) I love the fringe! The picture makes it look as though a separate piece was sewn on. This is not the case. The fringe is an extension of the bedspread, as it should be. (4) Here, I will explain the size in detail. The king spread claims it's 118x120. I didn't measure it; however, if you look at my pictures, you can determine whether or not it will work for you. I have a king (76"x80") Saatva bed with a 14.5" mattress and an 8.75" foundation. Combined with the frame, which is 8" from the floor, my bed sits about 33+" high. (I know that's higher than the math would tell you, but it is what it is.) You can see in my pics that the king spread hits the bed frame. Since I haven't found a bigger spread, this is fine with me. I will be ordering a bedskirt. No big deal. (5) Shams. Again, as you can see in my pictures, you do not need shams. If you place the spread evenly on the bed so that it hits the frame in the same place all the way around, you have more than enough to cover your pillows. Of course, if you want them as decorative accents, go for it. (6) Lint. I don't know what some others are referring to, but it doesn't appear to be extraordinarily linty. I shook it out, put it on, no issues. Maybe after washing, there'll be lots of lint in the dryer. We'll see. I wanted to put it on first so that I could take pictures and help others make their decision, since my search for a quality, inexpensive bedspread took more than 3 weeks. I hope this was helpful. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with this beautiful bedspread.

I purchased a new Queen mattress and adjustable base but my old spread didn't go all the way to the floor on the new set and I like to use under my bed for storage and didn't want it to show. I purchased this in a king and it is perfect size all the way around. Add to that it is beautiful & reminds me of my bedroom as a child. I put it in the dryer with fabric sheets when it arrived to fluff it up and put it on my bed immediately. Very little lint and no odor and no ironing needed. I bought Sage color and it is not too thin or see through. It is light enough that I don't have to struggle to get it centered and make the bed but weighted enough to be comfortable. I love everything about it and it makes me smile every time I enter my bedroom. Good price too!

Don’t get me wrong, this blanket looks beautiful on my bed but it’s a bit misleading. The design is definitely not as dark as the pictures and it’s paper thin. It’s like a straight up flat sheet almost. It’s also not that comfortable/soft. I wouldn’t buy again (I got the color eggplant for my queen)

Easy to wash as it’s cotton looks good and not too heavy a proper size as well 🥰

Suelta muchísima pelusa, es muy delgada y no abriga nada y demasiado grande, es difícil que el rosetón esté centrado, la he devuelto.

So happy to have finally found a chenille bedspread to replace my very old one. Too difficult to find one in Australia. International postage and time was so reasonable, arrived sooner than expected. Company updated regularly. Perfect size. Love it
