The fittings were 5stars and worked with a builders 50m hose 12.5 inner bore. Not sure what the rubber seals were for, as they were not needed and the hose doesn't leak!?!.. Yes I did try to use them.... The 'hose lock' wouldn't engage the thread with the larger seal in place. So I assumed I wasn't using them correctly. The hose was also a snug fit anyway. Maybe instructions for those with keine ahnung of hose fittings. Still... Shiney

Great product except it curs your fingers to bits when putting it on ! Literally 14 large very sore paper cut like cuts !

Was a little wary as some reviews commented on leaks and difficulty on fitting. I was connecting two standard garden hoses. Didn't need to use any of the washers supplied. Literally, placed them on and screwed them together. No leaks or any problems
