My cat hardly let me get it unwrapped and straightened out. He loved it. Unfortunately, he has a short attention span and soon quit playing with it. Hopefully he will come back and play with it more! I loved it!

11.17.22~ When I first tried this crazy toy it was under $1 as 'Add-On'.Over the years it has slowly increased to $2 then $3 and Still best cat toy.For a bouncy coat hanger with cardboard rolls twisted onto the end,it grabs the attention of the most discerning feline with its bird-like movements.So to pay 5 bucks for a hanger that allows the cat to interact without me is priceless.Of course she still prefers interaction but when I'm done for the day, she chases solo.This has the option to stick to the wall or hold in your hand.The paw-shaped, white case clicks shut with the dancer up or down.Cat Dancer has been a gift to every new & existing cat lover friend.Even if the feline at 1st seems uninterested, eventually 'Cat Dancer' lures them in.Cat Dancer must be made by cat lovers bc only cat lovers would get~Cats don't want expensive toys. They want free stuff like paper bags and your toes.This is the best of both.(and if you furry one has no interest, it's a cheap try & a shelter will always take it) Enjoy

I barely had time to get it out of the package before he went at it! Good thing it was easy to install, or I might not have had the chance. Of course the only time he stops playing with it is when I come around with the camera to get video.I have a smart tuxedo boy and he is hard to keep entertained. He's also the clingiest cat I ever had, so anything that he can do without my input to give me a break is an absolute gift. I placed the CAT DANCER on one of our bedroom doors and he's spent the better part of this evening trying to catch it! I only wish I'd discovered it sooner.Update: 12 hours later and he returned to play some more without any encouragement from me.

The media could not be loaded. Who would have thought a piece if wire with some cardboard rolls could provide so much entertainment. We had the original and he drug it all over the house with him. He's a bit of an aggressive attacker, so holding it could be dangerous, so we tried thus version. Conceptually, it's amazing, but he's learned to shove his nose under it and dislodge it from the wall. In the middle of the night we hear scraping sounds as he runs around the tile floor with the cardboard in his mouth and the plastic paw/holder dragging behind him. When focused, he can dislodge it in about 5-10 seconds. I wish there was a clip towards the top to keep it from coming out so easily.So..4 stars because he loves it (with or without the mount). One star deducted for the nightmares caused by being woken up by creepy scraping sounds.

The media could not be loaded. I got this for Mr Oscar. Plus I also got one from a different place of just the wire, adding the 2 together in this video (If it works). He's still going crazy for it!! I think he think its a bug and he LOVES live bugs!! I am quite entertained by his antics. Clearly worth the small amount I paid.

I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on different cat toys for my 3 furry munchkins over the years and they are excited about new toys for about 5 minutes and completely lose interest after that. I have to say- I was skeptical, but it’s crazy how much joy this little $6 toy has brought to all three of them! Not only do they play with it, they LAUNCH their entire bodies in the air trying to “catch” this thing over and over again... We listen to the thuds of their body from a room a way and it makes us laugh so hard! It’s been going on for months now... they play with it every single day, and I swear my one chubby cat is actually slimming down because of all the physical activity :)I mounted the holder on my bedroom door frame about 2’ off the ground. I recommend mounting it a little higher than you think you should because the cats will attack the wire and bend it lower over time, so it’s best to start higher. At first, I thought I would have to buy refill wires a bunch, but now I just wake up each morning and bend the wire into a new position for them! I also use a piece of packing tape to tape the wire up a little higher on the door frame (I haven’t yet figured out how to move the mount itself easily and I don’t want to break it, but the tape works just fine!).Seriously can’t say enough good stuff about this toy- I’ve started buying them for all of my friends when they adopt kittens too! Thanks for a great product!

Pretty cheap and it shows with how simple this product is. Pretty much a metal wire with cardboard pieces at it's end and all attached to a piece of plastic with a command strip. It definitely had my kitty's attention in the beginning but after playing with it, the metal doesn't hold up as well and cardboard bits at the end have all been chewed away. This product also came opened in my package and wasn't like in the picture, which was sealed. Was just in a bag with all the items out

My cat absolutely LOVED this toy. It makes him absolutely feral, to the point where he's jumping and swatting until panting. Hands-down, this toy beats out any overpriced $30 dollar toy from the pets store. My only warning is to listen to those instructions! My cat got about a solid 72 hours out of this toy before he completely ripped the holder off of the wall. If you have a very playful or strong cat like my boy, place the toy at the recommended height. I placed mine lower than 4 feet and bent the wire a bit as I thought the listed height was way too tall... I was wrong. You'd be surprised just how high up these guys can jump. I placed it at about two feet, and my cat was able to grab the wire and tear. I think if I'd put it at the suggested 4 feet or so, the toy would've lasted much longer. Definitely user-error! Other than me underestimating my precious goblin child, it's a fantastic product.
