Aesthetically Lovely But Has Issues
Although the jar looks nice, its shape means you can't lift it one handed and, the lid hadn't fit a lip (ie. It isn't slightly bigger than the jar) so you too prise it off. The lid is slightly loose. The jar surface although aesthetically nice, is slippy. Quality is okay and, it's bigger than expected. So, you need 2 hand to move the jar whether its got contents in it or not

Good-looking and effective, depends on what you want
This is an attractive, solid item. It looks much better than your average storage jar (most of ours tend to be cheap ones or recycled Douwe Egberts coffee jars), and if you want good-looking kitchenware this fits the bill.It is stackable, which is useful if you’re strapped for space, though I don‘t think anyone would want to stack jars like this more than two high. If you had more than one for different products, you’d need to label them, in which case you might be better off buying one of those “tea/coffee/sugar” sets. (Amazon have one in the Jamie Oliver range, but they are non-stackable steel canisters.)The seal appears to be pretty airtight.I’m using the jar to store cafetiere coffee (the pre-ground variety). The jar does, as advertised, take a 227 gm pack (you have to shake the coffee down to make it fit in). This is fine for me, as I’m the only one who drinks coffee (apart from visitors), and I alternate between real and instant, so a small pack lasts me a reasonable time. There is one practical issue. The lid is wooden not only on top but also underneath. As the lid is not washable, only wipe clean (as the label informs you), it would be inadvisable to use it to, for example, store tea after storing coffee. My wife hates coffee, and now I’m using it for coffee there’s no way she would use it for tea or sugar – it would be “polluted”. (The jar itself is washable.)You have to wonder whether you are paying extra for the name. Usually this gives you a designer label and/or a recognisable house style. This jar has neither; I can’t see your visitors thinking at first sight “ooh look, they’ve got a Jamie Oliver storage jar”; this may be an issue if you’re bothered about such things. All that said, it’s still a pretty good storage jar.

Gorgeous!
Jamie Oliver Ceramic Storage Jar – Grey & White – Small• I love the sleek and silky feel of this ceramic Storage Jar, and I especially the milk churn shape. It would fit into any style kitchen, whether thatched cottage country style, or sleek and modern.• The well fitting Acacia Wood Lid has a silicone seal to make the jar airtight.• The satin finish glaze oozes class and is easy to wash in warm soapy water. The Acacia Wood Lid just needs to be wiped over with a damp cloth, not immersed in water.• The width of the base is just less than 4½ inches. The height is 5 inches.• This storage jar has many applications including storage of 40 teabags or 227gr of ground coffee. At time of writing this Review the RRP is £14.99 which given the quality of the product, is reasonable.I love it!

The jar definitely benefits from having the silicone seal to keep the contents fresher – it’s really marketed as a tea or coffee jar mentioning it will hold 40 teabags or 227g of fresh ground coffee which helps give a good idea of size
I’m a big fan of the Jamie Oliver Storage Jar. I think it has that country kitchen style about it with the ceramic teamed up with the acacia wood lid. The jar definitely benefits from having the silicone seal to keep the contents fresher – it’s really marketed as a tea or coffee jar mentioning it will hold 40 teabags or 227g of fresh ground coffee which helps give a good idea of size. Unlike vacuum sealed jars though, the lid is very easy to remove. From the photo I thought the top section looked a little more blue-grey but it’s definitely a grey colour and I like the fact the branding is only found on the bottom of the jar so it’s not visible. The tag mentions to wash the jar with warm soapy water – not to be confused with the glass/fork sign which just means it’s approved for food use. The lid on the other hand can only be wiped with a damp cloth as it is wood. The jars are stackable but personally it’s not something I would stack. I will be buying a second so I can have tea and coffee in each.

Bit Overpriced
This jar looked so promising from the pictures. I have a fetish for all things kitchen related and I thought this would be a super storage jar. It came in a non-descript box, which is only a problem if it is bought as a gift. It is very small. I thought it would be a bit bigger. As such it useful for sugar and or maybe salt. It does look nice, with its two-tone colours and wooden lid, which seals very tightly. It will keep anything put in it very dry. There is very little else you can say about it. I think the price is a bit too high, given its size and usefulness. Whilst I like it, I just wanted something a bit bigger and so more useful. Overall its well made, but of limited use.

Very stylish
Arrived in a plain brown box, which I’m guessing is because it is a review product, If buying as a gift its very uninspiringThe Jamie Oliver jar received is the small one, Its fairly small 11cm diameter x 12cm high. Two tone design with a wooden lid which has a silicon seal.I do like the design, the size is a bit small for any of the suggestions, you can squeeze 40 teabags in, but there really squeezed tight.I love the simple design, its going to fit in any modern KitchenMy only grumble is the price, but I guess If you want a stylish well made set of jars then you’re going to have a pay the price.

Very nice aesthetics
• This is an unremarkable and (nearly) unbranded storage jar. If you flip it over, there's a tiny "Jamie Oliver" in the centre on the base.• At this size, it's really too small to be useful, in my opinion -- to small for biscuits. I suppose you could use it for tea bags or coffee.• While stackable, I wouldn't stack more than two of these at a time.• The seal appears to be tight.
