There are absolutely nothing wrong with these especially considering their price. They are plastic though, with plastic windows - so incredibly light weight but if you wanted something substantial, you will be disappointed. You get what you pay for.They work incredibly well, we keep ours powered all the time and let the lamp do its job turning the bulb on and off. We use low voltage LED lights so they don't use much power at all.Very simple, looks good, and they work!

The media could not be loaded. not fancy, just works as expected. Made of hard plastic so not sure about longevity but working well so far

bought 3 of them due to cheap price so have one as a spare, surprising the sides are made from glass, flimsy light shade fitting until you tighten it with a twist, I opted for 2watt LED frosted bulbs and they are bright enough and no heat as they are on all night and longer in the winter months, working well so far with no issues, do not overtighten the two small nuts on the front as they only need to be hand tight, I did use silicone seal when fitting as this will preclude any seal failing in the winter months but that's just me, no earth required as this is a class 2 item (double insulated), fitted one lamp each side of the door, they will never rust but being plastic will fatigue over time (don't we all).

It's not bad, full plastic so I suppose won't rust. not very robust (certainly compared to the one it replaces of similar style). Quite small back plate, so hard to get the wires squeezed in, don't think the seal is very good of lamp to backplate, so I assume won't last that long if damp gets in. But the sensor works perfectly and doesn't flicker (like the old style one did when I put LED bulb in) and it actually looks the part. so would I buy again, prob not, though good value since it was cheap. But not bad enough to return.

For the money I thought I’d give this plastic lantern a go.Easy to install, looks authentic and has sturdy glass panels.Put the bulb in and as it was daylight hours covered over the sensor to see if it was working. Nothing happened so thought this might be faulty, after returning when darkness set in, I was pleasantly surprised to find my light lit up. So satisfied I’ve ordered two more .

1. There are NO glasses equipped in the lamp body, which leave it easily get wet and soaked during raining.2. It is gravely concerned about its electrical safety and I am very wondering how it get safety certificate approval from Amazon to sell around UK!3. Besides, the material is just CHEAP plastic, not Poly-carbonate which they advertise at all. It is very fragile & lightweight, which make me ultimately doubt its robustness and withstanding capability again the wind.4. It is completely waste of money and ends up with high risk of catching fire and electricity hazard. AVOID to buy these kind products.

Nice looking lamp made of plastic so not sure if it will survive a Scottish winter but we'll see. Easy to install.
