Solenoid valve not working unless you take it apart and then assemble again
The tank is quite good and it works nicely (so far, less than a week from the first launch). However, its solenoid valve doesn’t do anything at all: whether or not it is on (the green indicator LED on), the gas is bubbling with the same rate.UPDATE: after I had disassembled the valve (found a pice of advice on a specialized forum), stared at its guts menacingly and then assembled it again, it changed its mind and started to work. I am not sure whether it was a stuck spring or my threatening stare, but… so far so good.

Needs improvement came not working!
Received product and worked doesn’t leak but the magnetic Solinoid did not work so I can’t say the product worked right, the paining on the valves was also scratched and I did not like that seeing as this is a new product I am going to let the gas finish and return it was not happy with what I received

A DIY solution... with DIY limitations
It's a decent DIY solution that's much better than doing it yourself in a 2L bottle. Does it have its challenges? Absolutely. It's not like a typical CO2 regulator that is just filled up with gas that you pump into your diffuser. This uses baking soda and citric acid to generate CO2 and if done properly, is highly effective. But due to its design, you do still need to pay careful attention to your drop checker and the overall consistency of the CO2 output is dependent on a lot of other factors as well like temperature and how long it has left in its monthly cycle.

Great kit….but a bit pricey.
I was looking for a replacement for my 2 bottle CO2 set up for my 5 gallon tank. The size is a bit overkill for this tank. Originally I planned on putting this on a bigger tank that currently uses a similar 1 liter setup and put the 1 liter on this tank. Unfortunately trying to find an actual pressure regulator for the external threaded tank has proven to be difficult. The included setup has 2 valves but a single gauge so we shall see.The kit includes everything you need to get started except the raw materials and a timer for the solenoid. Tubing, check valve, bubble counter, and diffuser. It also comes with a measuring cup and funnel for adding your raw materials. As I said above it does include a solenoid valve but with out a timer it’s pretty much useless. Any plug in timer or smart plug will work though. The kit is easy to use. Add your dry baking soda then citric acid, then add (warm) water and put the top on. Gently agitate the contents to mix and get a complete reaction. The pressure will build and may take a bit to level off. Once it’s up to pressure you’re good to go.While I like the kit, there are similar systems with true regulators in the same price range. If you can catch it on sale, it will make a good choice. If it came with a true pressure regulator it would be perfect.

Great product
Very easy to put together. Was fairly easy to understand the adjustments are great and everything works nice. Only wish it came with the ingredients which you have to buy separately but it has an explosion proof design. So. I need to worry

Couldn't get it installed.
I did not understand the instructions on how to install this. It's not the products fault, but a fault of my own.

Aquarium Co2 kit
This is not what I was expecting, I thought I was getting a tank that was refillable, not one that created its own gas. I’m ok with that, it is smaller than expected and probably won’t work on the large tank I was going to use it on so I am setting it up on a smaller 29 GallonI sat down to try to assemble this last night. The pieces seem nice, and made well, but instructions are very confusing.

Perfect Kit for A Beginner
I have been wanting to get a CO2 system in my aquarium for a while and was overwhelmed with everything I looked into. This system so far has been easy to set up and I really like that I won’t have to deal with CO2 cartridges. The idea of ‘making’ my own CO2 with easy to find ingredients is quite clever. This system looks a lot nicer than a 2 liter and rubber hoses running into my aquarium. The instructions were clear and the process of putting it together wasn’t simple but I got it figured it, a lot of user error was involved. This system is pricy but when you add up all the parts that you would need to buy in order to get the it running, you’d be saving quite a bit. I have a glass CO2 tester than has been really helpful to show me what level the CO2 is and that has helped me a lot when it comes to making adjustments.
