I was nervous buying this (concerned about size, how well it'd work, if it'd crap out on me, etc). I took the plunge though, and I think this is one of the best purchases I've ever made! It was the perfect size for hotpot for 2 (could probably do 3 as well). I got it to surprise my fiancé with hotpot at home for his birthday since we can't go out because of the stay at home orders. He was thrilled and thought this was perfect. The 3 heating levels were perfect for adjusting the temperature of our broth. The only mild complaint is that the cord is pretty short (maybe 3 feet?) so you need to have your set up very close to an outlet or be prepared with an extension cord. It heated up quickly and was bubbling away by the time I brought all the fixings to the table. I would definitely recommend this for any couples who wish to do hotpot at home!

The hot pot heats up fast and works well. I had a problem using it three times and then it stopped working. The seller was very helpful. After I reported the problem, they sent me a replacement within a week and the new pot works just fine. Really impressed with their attentive customer service.

I had been looking for this hotpot style for quite awhile and bought 2 of this hotpot for the holidays and it worked good but both broke after a few uses within a month. So just in time for the return/refund! Size can be an important factor when choosing a pot for shabu shabu. A lot of pots are a lot bigger. The heating element is not attached to the pot, which makes it safer and more convenient. The stainless steel looks very clean.

The pot is perfect for small fondue. But not what I expected ...I returned it immediately !

I liked the way it looked online, and I thought it would be quick-heating like coffee pots, kettles, etc, but instead it has a solid electric plate like a hot plate that takes forever to heat up. So of course, you cannot regulate the temp quickly, as the electric plate has to cool down or heat up, which it does slowly. But when the pot reaches boiling, it really boils! In addition, I was hoping the pot would be the real stainless steel rather than the thin aluminum-like product so many products are made of now. I was disappointed to find the pot is thin stainless. I'm going back to shopping in stores rather than trusting online pictures and descriptions.If you really needed to read instructions to operate this pot you would be out of luck, with the garbled translation. I loved "Do not let a child or AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON operate equipment". I was glad they warned me!

We have used this so many times and absolutely love it. We used to go out but when we discovered we can do this from the comfort of our home, we had to buy us one. Perfect size for our family of 5. We may buy another one just so we can have a mild and a hot broth going at the same time. Great price too!

Compact, we wanted a smaller one to have a more personalised flavor. Works well.
