Great book to use when starting with instant pot!
The media could not be loaded. Firstly, I love how this lady writes. I can really hear her Sheffield accent when I read the book 😂 (certainly not written by AI like one reviewer said lol)Secondly I just used the instant pot for the first time, made the Lancashire hot pot recipe.I used more meat, sliced onion, finely chopped rosemary and thyme then cubed stew veg from Tesco, as I was having a lazier day..I had to add some cornflour to make the gravy a little thicker, but it went well! The kids were full of compliments! Even the teen who usually communicates in grunts 😂They added some toast and that was all 👍🏽I’m so excited to try the next recipe!UPDATE:I tried a Thai beef curry, using a frozen spice pot from the supermarket. Proper lazy style as it was midweek. Used powdered coconut milk (Maggi), chopped an onion and clove of garlic, added coconut milk, added chopped peppers… half an hour later we had a great Thai Pangam beef curry!Reduced the curry as it’s never thick, using sauté option.. but used the beef curry recipe from this book for guidance!

Good to get you started.
It’s an excellent recipe book if you’re new to an Instant Pot. I found using the pressure cooking function daunting and the recipes in here helped get me started. The recipes are quite basic - sausage and mash, chilli, bolognaise etc. The list of ingredients are UK in metric which is helpful and the ingredients are all the usual items you would find in a British supermarket. What I don’t understand is that it also prints the US list of ingredients but still in metric as a repetition of the UK list. US is usually imperial and in ‘cups’.There are no pictures and everything is black and white. The paper and print quality is a reflection of the low price.Would I buy again? Yes, after cooking a number of recipes over the last month, it’s help me embrace my instant pot but now I will look for something better.

Very good on pressure cooking
Slightly disappointed. The book is good but concentrates on the pressure cooking aspect, which is good but I was hoping for a more general approach.
