MryokReplacement Lenses Compatible with Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer RW4006 50mm Smart Glasses - Options

These lenses are a perfect replacement for my Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses. They were too dark indoors and so I got the transition lenses and I really love them. The fit is perfect and I highly recommend them to anyone that might be interested in replacing their lenses.

I purchased these Lenses (clear) for my matte-black Ray-Ban META AI Wayfarer Glasses. I figured I could attach clip-on reader lenses TO THESE in addition, so I'm able to wear these at work or anywhere without any blurred vision! My ideal pair with these affordable lenses (while I put my stock lenses that came with the Ray-Ban's in a secure place so I don't scratch them), would be wearing a 1.5 strength reader clip-on lens to attach to my glasses paired with these clear lenses.So far they've been great, and they don't scratch easily which is a very big plus for me, and of course the price point is VERY affordable. They came neatly packaged, and was very satisfied ultimately in the end after receiving them in the mail. I would totally buy these all over again primarily for the fact that they're highly affordable.I eliminated going the prescription route, and again as I mentioned above went the cheap clip-on reader route which can easily be purchased on Amazon. :) Good luck for anyone going that route, hope you find your personal choice of prescription clip-ons to go with these very affordable clear lenses for the Ray-Ban META AI Wayfarer Glasses! :)Thank you for viewing MY review on Amazon.

The lenses fit perfectly but like other reviewers mentioned they had no photochromatic effect whatsoever. Also the lens material seemed very low quality and obsorbed substances easily. The stores customer service chat said they didn't even sell on this platforrm

These lenses are a classic case of "You get what you pay for". While I don't necessarily have any issues with them. There are a couple of things I have some issues with.I replaced the Green Transition lenses with these on my Ray Ban Metas due to the fact that it didn't feel like the original lenses darkened enough for me. These do seem to be a bit darker than the original lenses, but I'm not sure if they are actually darker, or if it is more because they transition to gray rather than green. For me, I was hoping they would get a bit darker, but that is a matter of personal opinion, so your mileage may vary.There are two main differences that I did notice between these and the original lenses.1) The outer edge of the lenses that do not "transition" seems to be much wider on these lenses than the original. With the darker shade of the lenses, it stands out that much more. Probably not noticeable by others without close inspection, but something to be aware of.2) The time that it take these lenses to transition from dark to clear seems to be much higher for these lenses. It took 4-5 minutes for them to completely transition back to clear after being out on a sunny day. The original lenses only took about two minutes. Not a huge issue, since (for me, at least) they don't get overly dark to start with.These lenses also have the same issues as the OEM lenses in that they are activated based on UV light. The issue I run into is that most modern car windshields also block UV light, limiting the darkening effect while driving.I will be keeping these lenses as a backup, in case of damage, scratches, etc., but I don't think they will be my primary lenses for very long, as there are several other options out there with more features, albeit more expensive.. Having said that, it isn't a terrible buy at the price.

The lens fit perfectly. I love the transition. It’s seamless when it happens. They are not so dark like sunglasses that you have to take them off cause they’re too dark. They perfectly shade the sunlight

It dosnt gets too dark when the sun hits it, but for the price its a great product

The media could not be loaded. Turns only a little dark. At first on an overcast day I thought these lens did not turn dark at all. Then I went out on a very sunny day and did a controlled test comparing them to my prescription transitions lens. See photos and video to judge for yourself. They will not turn nearly as dark as the sunglass lens that came with my Meta Rayban smartglasses. Installation and removal of the lenses is easy enough. I wanted to use my smart glasses indoors. These replacement lens make that possible. If I am going to spend several hours outside in the bright sun I will swap in the original sunglass lenses. If these replacement lens turned much darker they would be a home run. If you could order them with bifocal reading glasses in the lower viewing area they would be a grand slam. Instead they are like a double.

Works great. The price is good and I really like the packaging.
