I bought this Dr. Beckmann Washing Machine Cleaner to end a long-standing household feud over whether the washing machine smelled bad. Personally, I couldn’t smell a thing—but my other half (a self-proclaimed ‘supersniffer’) insisted the washing stank no matter what we tried. We’d used various brands and home remedies, but nothing worked—until this! After one use, the complaints stopped. No more “This washing stinks!”—instead, I now get a relieved “The washing still smells OK, thank god!” It was easy to use, seemed to deep-clean the machine, and the freshness has lasted. I’ve since used it a couple more times to keep things running smoothly (and to prevent any future nagging!). Pros: ✅ Actually works – The only cleaner that stopped the bad-smell complaints! ✅ Deep cleans & freshens – Removes grime, detergent buildup, and limescale. ✅ Easy to use – Just pour and run a cycle, no scrubbing required. ✅ Long-lasting freshness – Didn’t need redoing straight away. Cons: ❌ None for me – Just wish I’d found it sooner! Final Thoughts: If you’re battling mystery washing machine smells, this is the one to get. I have used this product lots of times and prefer it to other washing machine cleaners as you can clean the door seal with a small amount of the liquid from the bottle before putting the remainder in the machine on to clean it and it has always done a very good job of getting rid of any mold on them

Hopefully does as it says. Appears to have cleaned out the system pipework leaving a clean machine.

Seems to help the washing machine. However, the price is not competitive and can’t really be justified because there are many others where you may be able to purchase for a pound and will last for a few times this one on the other hand only use once.
