I waited a long time for these to upgrade my speakers. As an audiophile with a $3k headphone setup the time came when I wanted to invest in great sound for my desktop speakers too. I have mine on the angled stands, there isn't much to say other than I couldn't be happier, they sound incredible and clean, being near field they also don't travel through the entire house but when you're in the listening position in front of them they're loud and powerful with a sound which wraps around you and doesn't sound directional at all. I do not understand why people pair them with a sub, the bass is perfection, it vibrates my chest, I don't need it to vibrate the walls too. Even those lucky enough to live in a standalone house (certainly not an apartment/unit) on their own with distant neighbours, why ruin perfectly good music by drowning it in excessive bass? It makes no sense. I've also started using them for music production rather than dedicated monitors, as stated by Kanto they are perfectly suitable for that too, really they can do anything and do it better than anything else in the price range while being smaller too.

Great pair of speakers, beats all my old speakers by far. Great price too.

I have been looking to replace my Bose Companion 20 which finally gave up the ghost. The Edifier M60 were good looking, small enough to fit on my desk and sounded adequate, but the treble were a bit harsh and the bass was rather underwhelming. To my unprofessional ears, the Ora4 are more in line with the Bose's warm sound, and at the same time exceed the Bose in both bass and clarity. They are significantly bigger than both the Bose and the M60, and I had some fears that placing them close to the wall & corner would negatively affect sound quality, but not so. Pros: - awesome sound - great looks Cons: - larger than some other good speakers - relatively expensive - stands sold separately - no covers, drivers may get dirty over time or damaged

amazing speakers, customer service from kanto was fast and excellent. bought at higher price, and they reduced it for me to match the sale price afterwards.

Got the Moon color on sale for $250. The color looks better in person than in the photo. I had the Edifier M60 and the M3 all hooked up testing prior to getting these and while I thought both of the Edifiers sounded good in their own way, as soon as I hooked up and played the Ora4’s I was like “ya I’m keeping these”. The bass is much more present and plays much louder than the other two. The overall sound on these is great for the price I paid. I’m not knocking the Edifiers. The M3 sounds excellent for its price with more detail in the sound and separation. It didn’t get loud enough for me and the bass was ok but not as punchy and deep as the m60 or Ora4. The M60, smaller and noticeably louder with more bass than the M3. Sound is good but not as much clarity and detail as the m3 or Ora4 in my opinion (still a good value for its price). With that said I will be returning the Edifiers and keeping the Ora4 for good. I’m overall happy with them even though they are pricier than the other two. I only knocked off 1 star because they’re expensive. If it wasnt for the extra $50 off, I would have kept the Edifier M60.
