This 8 amp hour generic replacement 18v battery is a direct replacement for Bosch rated the same. It works great. It really holds a charge and outputs power equivalent to the actual Bosch batteries my tool came with. I have charged it using the Bosch amp share cradle as well as a generic quick charger built especially for these batteries. This battery not only performs well, but is built with the cooling fins that Bosch uses to help keep batteries cool during extended use periods. It is a good value and I would highly recommend it.

I have 6 Bosch 18V tools, but only 2 4.0 Ah batteries and one charger. Naturally, I needed an additional battery—who doesn’t? This 18V 8.0 Ah battery from TenHutt is a beast. It weighs 1 lb 14.8 oz, compared to the Bosch original battery, which weighs 1 lb 3.4 oz. That’s an increase of 11.4 oz. Additionally, the 8.0 Ah battery looks almost twice the height of the 4.0 Ah, which makes sense given it’s double the amp hours.This battery looks remarkably similar to the original, right down to the color scheme and the red pattern underneath. The buttons also appear identical, and the battery slides in and out just like the original. There is a slight amount of wiggle when the battery is attached to my Bosch tools, but I noticed the original has the same wiggle.The TenHutt battery arrived charged to 2 bars, and I used my Bosch charger to fully charge it to 5 bars. For a simple test, I placed the battery in my Bosch floodlight and let it run on full power for about 3 hours and 40 minutes. At the end, two bars were still lit. I then fully recharged the battery again.The one difference I noticed is that when I press the power indicator button on the Bosch battery, the lights remain on for a few seconds after releasing the button. In contrast, the TenHutt battery only displays the remaining power lights while the button is being pressed. This isn’t a big deal.Overall, I like this higher-capacity, non-OEM battery. However, it might ultimately come down to how much weight I’m willing to handle when using my tools.

I am skeptical that this pack is actually 8.0 Ah. I opened this pack to inspect the cells but cells are encased in a battery holder that blocks me from seeing the battery labeling without destroying the pack. I have purchased 2 other Toro batteries from Tenhutt. One had the correct size cells the other had smaller cells than what was required to meet the pack capacity. So, it is not like they have not put lower capacity cells in a battery pack before and this pack feels light for 8.0Ah. The internal cells are 21700.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Needed for a Bosch hedge trimmer but it didn't fit the trimmer

Working awesome. This battery is for the big tools, don't know of any reason one would need 8ah on a drill or impact, but the planers, sds, miter, vacuum is where you need this. Though if you don't mind the extra weight i guess one could use it on a drill or impact.Anyways this combo is working great on my miter and vacuum. I have not capacity tested the battery, probably will, but just from runtime alone i've done a lot of cutting with my miter the other day which it and the vac burn thru 4ah and i still have plenty of power.Update, been using these a few months, just did base boards with this in my miter saw for a condo still have 2 bars. Been using these in the track saw, circular saw (7 1/4), miter saw, vac no compatibility issues works great!
