Perfect replacement, no issues at all

Waited to long to order a new one of these. This was so comfortable.

The material as lighter, and thinner (in width and thickness) than my original. For a few seconds, I thought maybe import knock-off. But, it was bagged and tagged as ResMed, and looked legit in that respect. Upon opening the bag, this one was definitely a lighter weight version than what I was replacing. However, the quality still appeared to be there otherwise. I can say that after using it for several weeks now, it works as well, if not better than the thicker headgear. The velcro-type strap adjusments have held just as well, and are just as comfortable. Initially, I was concerned this headgear would not hold up as well, or be as comfortable, but so far it has performed as a 100% replacement. My only gripe would be that it does NOT come with new plastic clips. I was aware of this before ordering, so I did not lower my rating for that, although I was tempted to give it a four. However, that is really an issue with ResMed concerning the way they package and sell their product, as opposed to affecting the quality of the product itself. So, in that respect, I give this headgear five stars.

I bought a medium, as I always did for the past 15 years (from other vendors), but the medium was WAY too small. Exchanged it for a large; except this one was way too big, the top part was lose (the part that goes above the head) and I'd have to tighten both the bottom and top straps really hard to stay on... OH! and the left side strap kept on sliding out from the mask... strange, that never happened ever before. I finally bought another one - looked up my history here on amazon on what I bought in the past - and now I'm happy. It's amazing the difference. With this one I DO NOT HAVE TO TIGHTEN the straps. I don't have to walk around with a bruise on the bridge of my nose from the tight strap. It is VERY SAD, as for some of us our lives depend on this. I struggled for weeks with this strap and at times I'd rip it off my face... then the next day I'd feel really tired. No one should go through this. Velcro can be stronger

much better quality than standard issue...much less facial marking..gives great seals

My old headgear was wearing out and this was an easy replacement. Same brand as what I replaced.
