Another great addition to the western town!

Another excellent Funwhole Wild West town addition. One of my dislikes is the use of large wall pieces that are indented on one side. I prefer to have the outside walls looking smooth as that's the look that always viewable. Another common irritant is having a side wall with little detail (Post Office, Saloon, even General store) while everything else is decorated so robustly. Lastly the roof on Post Office and Saloon is a single plate. The Post Office roof does have a cool birds nest but needs to be reinforced. As does the Saloon. But overall Aces build. I would gladly to pay a little more to correct these issues though.

This is a fun build with a lot of great detail. It's a great addition to any western building block layout. The minifigures and animals are a clear distinction from the the leading building block company but the updated bricks for wire management are fantastic! They will easily allow another lighting brand to integrate but why would you? Funwhole has stepped up the game for adult builders.

Funwhole consistently has great sets

New to Funwhole? The usual question is: are they as good as Lego? Yes, absolutely. I've built a bunch of Funwhole sets and more Lego sets than I can count, and Funwhole beats Lego on price and presentation, the bricks are just as good, and Funwhole doesn't cut corners with stickers the way Lego does. They only use printed pieces. So you can buy with confidence.As to this set in particular: it's really attractive, with the sort of fine textural detail Funwhole's designers love (and that Lego needs to learn from). In addition to the lights and printed pieces, it's that very thoughtful attention to detail that characterizes Funwhole's style.I do wish the roof were removable as it is in many Funwhole sets (though there is a large swing-out rear panel for access) and that the horses had some kind of saddle pieces. But those are small reservations. Overall, this is a fun set to build and looks beautiful displayed with Funwhole's other Old West sets.
