This color looks so radiant in my hair get lots of compliments.

This is a product I have been using for quite a while but could not find it. Was very happy when I found it available on Amazon. Was even happier when it arrived sooner than they said it would. I was so happy to get this item because my substitute was not doing the same job that this does. Very happy customer 😀

I absolutely love this color on me. I've been using this for over 5 years. Dark & Lovely has decided to discontinue the color and the entire same day perm and color line. I'm so heart broken...but somehow Amazon has gotten a hold of some extra boxes of this color lying around somewhere and I'm going to buy it out until it's gone! Thank you Amazon!😁

Pros:1. The price of the Revive dye kit compared to store and beauty supply prices.2. Revive color kit is ammonia-free and a lot more conditioning on hair.3. The Amazon prime delivery time of reviving the color kitCons:1. Fade resist kit has ammonia and it irritated my scalp. I had to shampoo before 72 hours! I couldn't take it!2. Revive color is semi-permanent. I didn't know at first. The color was bleeding out of my hair but didn't hold any of the colors except my hairline and my fingernails from the poor gloves.3. Fade resist kit price for poor results and wasted time for the consumer.Thoughts:Both kits have a beautiful auburn color. The revive kit has more brown undertones and the fade resist more red undertones FYI ***I'm disappointed both didn't work on my natural, thick, low porosity hair. It was a waste of time to try dying it again for better results after using the fade resist brand of what I believe is spicy Auburn.Overall, you will need a processing cap and a hooded dryer for sure despite what instructions fail to tell you. The fade resist kit wouldn't tell you to use a plastic cap nor sit under some sort of heat for vibrant results. Only my hairline picked up the color both times!! Even after 30 minutes with a cap and heat, and without cap and heat on two separate occasions.I wouldn't recommend this! Please lighten your hair to pick up the hair color shown on the box if doing it at home. It didn't work on my plain, natural hair. These kits are better after you have professionally dyed your hair and want to top it off again with dye for whatever reason. I'm going to the salon!

I think they changed the formula for this. I almost sent this back because the box I usually get says same day relax and color. This box does not say that. I had to read the description to find out if I can use this the same day I relax my hair. After rinsing, I noticed my hair was still brown in the sunlight. It worked on my gray strings but not much of a huge difference for the rest of my hair. I think I’ll have to find another brand.

This is what I got as a leave in conditioner, I have no idea what that is, a little piece of pink stuff and hard. Very disappointing.

I buy the Natural Black color & it doesn’t smell bad, is gentle & does an OK (but not great) job at covering my grays. What I dislike is that I get dye under my nails if I scratch my head after I’ve dyed it, it may transfer to light fabrics if you sleep on them & the color starts to quickly fade within about a week or so (even if you don’t wash your hair for that long). This color is more like a very short term rinse in my opinion but I continue to use it because it’s the most gentle one I can find.

I always use Dark and Lovely Same Day Relax and Color hair coloring, because it’s the only product that I’ve used that does not break my hair out. I usually wait until 5-7 days after I relax my hair to color it just because. It darkens my grays perfectly.
