Moves a ton of air on high; pleasing sound and well designed
We purchased two of these after researching single room air purifiers with high flow rates per dollar. Filters are reasonably affordable and last a year. The flow rate is really impressive and the sound is soothing (we run one while we sleep). It's hard to measure air purification in most contexts, but we do have a air quality sensor that shows a relatively quick drop in particulates when the fan is running. I love that the controls is a simple analog dial. There's nothing lit up flashing in our room at night nor are there a menu or options we're unlikely to use; just 3 speed options + off on a rotary dial. Nice and simple. Perfect.

Loud and larger than it should be.
It's not a bad purifier per day, but it's just lacking in enough areas to make it not worth the higher price. For one, it's kind of large for a "small" purifier. It may look stylish but the fact that it's a larger footprint that also needs to sit on the 4 legs in each of the 4 corners, it limits the places you can put it, like it's too big to fit on most end-tables or shelves for example. The only saving grace here is that it sucks air from the bottom and then blows up, so you can squeeze it into a tight space between things if you want. Second, it's not quiet. The lowest speed has little to no fan noise, but the motor hums a high pitch that is annoying. At higher speeds the fan is louder than the hum, but then the fan noise is high. I think around 58 DB at high speed which is louder than most large higher quality air purifiers, or at least large purifiers on a medium speed which end up with a higher cadr at medium than this does at high.

Don't bother
Was hopeful....would give zeros stars but, that's not an option. Product tested. HEPA filter smells strongly of sweetish, cloying, chemicals, right out of the plastic wrap, causes itching/irritation in throat, makes whole room smell when turned on and run for less than 20 min. I recommend people test them in a small, well ventilated room. I always test them in the bathroom where I have an exhaust fan and window to air out when/if this happens. HEPA filters used to smell clean and slightly bleachy like a fresh pack of paper towels or paper plates. They used to make the air in the room feel cleaner and you could feel you were breathing easier not worse. Not sure where thery are making them, or what they are making them from or what they are stored near, but they should not stink of chemicals and they should not make your house smell worse and your breathing worse. I wonder how many people are made sick by these chemicals? These air cleaners should be better regulated. You are taking your chances.

Strong purifier!
works very well!! It helps filter out dust and fur from my rabbit as well the smell of hay and litter box. The 3 speeds depend on the size of your room (or I guess how quickly you want it purified), level 3 is the loudest but I also have a small room so I tend to leave mine on one or two.
