Strong and durable.
This is my second purchase, one is in my bathroom, the second in the bedroom. These are sturdy, slightly industrial looking, but strong and easily adjustable for height.Comfortable seat, which can be slid apart, and easy to clean.I would happily recommend this item.

Best one I tried
After injuring my back I needed a commode for night times. This frame is sturdy and height adjustable, the arms on it enabled easy use even when my back was spasming and seized up. The only issue I had is with the seat. When I’d lift the seat to remove the lid for use, the seats plastic half hinges (both sides), would clip right off the frame and fall to the floor! I found a way around this, of instead pushing the two seat parts to each side to lift the lid, then back together again after use. But whilst this worked for me, it may be difficult for an elderly person or person more disabled than myself to manage. However, I tried two commode chairs, this and a partly plastic fold up one. The other was very cheap, unstable, unsightly and way too short. The height didn’t adjust and it was dangerous for me to use. This one is far more stable and comfortable to use and being black looks better. It is more than triple the price ofc, but for me personally was worth the investment. As a side note, the frame is very lightweight and with seat and pot removed can easily be placed over a cabinet out of the way, OR, with the seat still on can throw a folded blanket over the seat and it just looks like a chair or press bench with blanket over! Works for me.

100% recommend, very comfortable and sturdy…….
Wow this commode is absolutely brilliant and couldn’t have come at a better time.Having my ensuite wet room ripped out and going back to a bathroom with bath, my toilet has gone for a few days. I do have a bath upstairs with toilet, but being disabled can no longer walk upstairs without difficulty.I sent off with the commode and being adjustable is really good. I am 5ft 9”Made in Europe (Spain)Comes virtually made up, current cost £149.99 at reviewMax weight 400lb which is 28.57 stoneVery strong and made up off aluminiumReally good arm rests and haven’t found the chair tips overThe seat is adjustable to ensure no accidents, and comfort.5 height settings which for me I need, as I cannot bendRemovable bucket, pretty obviousFor what you get, I was expecting this to be heavy, but truly it isn’t, only 8.8lbAlso if you have a wet room, you can sit on it without the commode to shower. The commode will fit most toilets, but please measure first.I have worked previously as a nurse in the NHS and a Senior cater for over 40 + years.. I wish the patients had these as so much nicer, more sterile to clean than some old fashioned commodes..As someone who worked in care, and now needing a commode myself, believe me, this is superb.Of course I am currently using by my bed, I feel the price and how well made this is, is fantastic value.100% recommend, perfectly sturdy, and most important comfortable⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️ I hope my review helps you

Very well made
This is a very strong and robust seat. It serves multiple purposes as a shower seat, commode or toilet riser, but wouldn't be so easy to move between each.My elderly mother broke her leg, through a fall. She is still getting over it, with quite a journey ahead, so this is a very welcome addition to the home. Although flat packed, it's pretty much already assembled for you and you can have it together within minutes. The material is soft to touch, well padded and certainly waterproof. Ours will be used as a commode. The bucket slides under the seated area, but it's a little clumsy to slide in and out. I think this could have been designed better. Once you get the hang of it though, it's ok, but there is potential for spills at the start. The seat area comes in two parts, one for each cheek basically. They rise and lower independently and can easily be taken off to clean. As a shower seat, simply remove the bucket and you're good to go. For use as a toilet riser, do check the height this goes to. Our toilet was too high to start with as this doesn't seem to be particularly tall itself, even though we extended it to maximum height. That was our original intention for this, but it's a no for that, so we will be using it as a commode primarily. It's fairly easy to adjust the height and seat pad positioning and the rubber feet seem to grip well. Of course they won't be so good on tiled or laminated floors, so just be careful. As a unit, this is top quality. I just think the way the basket hangs isn't the easiest way to do it and it would have been nice to have a top cover which turns the two 'cheek seats' into one overall seat.
