Baby Trend Expedition® Race Tec™ Plus Jogger, Ultra

I put the time in doing research before buying and we decided on the Race Tec stroller. We couldn’t be happier with it. Even though it’s a jogger, we actually use it more as an everyday stroller — and it more than does the job, especially where I live since the sidewalks here are very uneven. It’s got a smooth ride because of the large, sturdy wheel. It can handle bumps, cracks, and rough spots in the pavement with ease. The baby seems very comfortable and happy in it, which is the most important thing! I also really appreciate that it can collapse fairly easily when it’s time to pack it up or store it. It’s not the smallest stroller once folded — it still takes up a good amount of space — but that’s to be expected for a jogger-style stroller with such solid construction. The folding mechanism itself is straightforward and not too heavy to lift into my trunk. Overall, the build quality is excellent, and it feels premium product without the same price tag as the ‘Bob’. You won’t be unhappy with this purchase!

We are not actually joggers, but we walk daily in areas with extra rough roads and sidewalks. This grade of jogger did just what we needed to give our little guy a smoother ride than he had in our other small-wheeled stroller, without breaking the bank. Its stability and ease of walking on varied terrain helps make it possible for one person to walk the big dog and push the baby solo whether we need to roll across a broken sidewalk, over some asphalt, or into the grass at the park. The features and construction are more bare bones than the big brands, but the stroller is functional for our needs. Example: It has manual foot locks, but no handle brakes to slow down while running. So if I were training for a marathon or planned to use the stroller for years through multiple babies, I’d invest in one of the fancier brands. Example 2: It also takes up lots of room in the vehicle and isn’t the easiest to fold up/down and load into the car. So I would not use it for a state-hopping travel stroller or if I lived in a tiny house and needed something compact. But for a reliably smoother ride and daily comfort for the little guy, this works great for us!

Gorgeous quality for the price. Exceeded my expectations for ease of assembly, amazing features and storage, quality of the tires and the material. Shade covers so well and has that peekaboo top. Smooth over bumps and doesn’t get stuck. The stroller is somewhat lightweight but feels very sturdy.

I love this stroller! It is a smooth ride. We have run over goat -heads many times, and the tires went flat, so my husband filled them with something that kept that from happening. We no longer have that problem. Baby Trend Expedition® Race Tec™ Plus Jogger, Ultra now goes everywhere. This is very dependable and reliable. My son is four years old now and has owned it since he was born. Our family still uses it as we go on 4 mile walks where he can not keep up with us. We can't leave him behind. The older siblings love pushing this stroller as it goes fast. I really appreciate the bicycle wheels because we live on a gravel road. The gravel does not stop us or slow us down. When I go on a walk with another mom who has a stroller, I give her the sidewalk because mine works well off the road, which is one reason I bought it. We live next to trails and hiking areas and ho frequently. Regular stroller wheels would get us nowhere. There is a strap to connect to your wrist (mine broke 1-2 years ago) for safety, so while you are jogging, if you accidentally let go, you are still connected. There is a good-sized, convenient material storage holder under where the child sits. The tray opens from one side and lifts up. It has cup holders. Also, the parent has a little compartment and cup holder, too. The seat does fold down for sleeping. You can adjust the seat to whatever position you want. The umbrella top moves both to the back and all the way forward. There is even a window on the cover to check inside on your child.

Update: I was able to find one shortly after my previous update. It has held strong. My kid is on the tall side and almost 4. Still fits in it comfortably. Update. I won't be able to further review this product. I had to returned because they can't send the tire. You have to either return or exchange and it was going to take a month for the replacement. I think the problem was that the box ripped in the front during delivery but the product did look strong and beautiful. Unfortunately, my local stores don't sell it, so I might have to go for something different. Original - Beautiful stroller. - It really covers your baby from the sun. - Comfortable basket. - It came with a bad tire and what it looked to be a posible returned stroller, as some of the zip ties where open. - Assembly is extremely easy. All you do is unfold the stroller and click the tires on. - I wasn't able to use it but does look comfortable. - I don't know how it performs yet. - It came with a scratch at the bottom part. I tried contacting baby trend but their customer service is closed now (5/13/21) due to a holiday. If they can resolve this inconvenience, I will update with the performance. But honestly, even though I have not use it, I can tell is a sturdy stroller. I have another baby trend stroller for 2+ years and is still strong and looks new with no scratches on it, my baby just outgrown it. And even though this one came with a scratch I do not think it gets scratch easily as the way that it folds doesn't allow for that.

Bought it at a discount, awesome! Pros: Big and sturdy. Stable . Smooth and easy to handle, front wheel lockable . Cons: Tires are rubber with air, struggled to get them pumped without a hand pump.. Takes up alot of space in Car boot Handle material not to my liking Bottom seat belt does not have protector, might be uncomfortable.

Excelente diseño, ligera y muy facil de controlar. Super suave y su andar esta excelente para el niño, no pasa casi nada de vibraciones del suelo.

La super recomiendo. No pesa, se compacta muy bien y lo. mejor es que es todo terreno. La compre con mi hija mayor y ahora nuevamente para mi segundo hijo. La recomiendo ampliamente. El espacio de abajo es muy amplio. Se puede reclinar para que quede totalmente acostado. Adicional trae porta vasos y porta celular.

Excelente carriola

Es muy cómoda por el tipo de llantas con el que cuenta, puedes llevar al bebé en alguna calle que no sea totalmente lisa y no siente la incomodidad de irse moviendo bruscamente. Además se puede doblar súper rápido y es muy fácil transportarla.
