Q: Have they made a model that is compatible with windows 10 yet?

The model I have, NM-1000 works with Windows 10. Unfortunately you have to subscribe to their cloud storage to get support. We hard drive users are called "legacy" and are not supported. We stopped using NEAT

Q: What is the warranty if purchased through amazon?

Amazon has a 30 day return policy, they do not have a manufacturer's warranty. And reading the warranty, it's worded in such a way as to think that perhaps I don't have a warranty. There is a limited warranty on the scanner itself, but they do not have a warranty for their software and BTW, their software doesn't work, and the scanner doesn't work without the software, so I now have a $400 piece of junk that I used twice, with difficulty, that I can't return. If you are within the 30 day return policy. Return it now and check out the Fuji scansnap.

Q: can neat desk scan photos?

I'm using a Neat Desk scanner to scan color pictures. By cutting and folding paper I fashioned guides on either side of the pictures to keep them square with the scanner. Resolution could be a little better, but the quality is okay for home pictures and the scanner is pretty fast and efficient.
