Choppiest Chopper Ever!!!
We have bought and broken other choppers that didn't hold up, because they are designed so the vegetables are pushed through the cutting blades and into a catch basin. The Alligator blades chop through the vegetables leaving the on top where they can easily be dumped into a container for storage or right into a pan for cooking. Super strong blades and so easy to clean, without cutting your fingers!!!

Best customer service I've seen in a long time
I originally bought this chopper and the top kept popping off and it was infuriating. Not too much longer after writing my first review I received a brand new chopper with a hand written note inside apologizing for my terrible experience. I LOVE the new chopper so much b/c the tops stays on. Super happy with the amazing customer service and the chopper. I think I saved half the time this morning making a soup for my crock pot b/c the chopping was so quick with this thing. Thank you!

Makes chopping vegetables quick and easy.
I love the alligator food chopper. It makes chopping vegetables quick, easy and the vegetables are uniform in size. I have chopped onions, peppers, potatoes, celery. And even some fruit. The first time I used it I didn't think it would be sturdy enough to chop but it was.

Chopper collection "box" falls off with every dice :(
Updating my initial early review. The collection box for the cut veggies does not stay on as you cut, spilling diced items everywhere. Very poor engineering to allow this to function this way. I'm pretty disappointed - long ago I thought the Alligator was 'the best'. Will need to find a new dicer, as this is too irritating.

Really does the job
This does a really good job of dicing onions into tiny little pieces. Of course it dices lots of other things, too. I like that it has a catcher to hold the diced pieces. The one I have also came with a cutter that makes double-sized pieces, but I've never actually used it. The main problem is that it is a bit hard to clean. Often the cleaning takes longer than the cutting. For the onions, cut the whole onion into 8ths with cuts on 3 orthogonal axes. Lay one of the 8ths on its back with the point up. Lower the blade down to where it touches the tip of the pyramid, then suddenly press down very hard. Whap! --- Now you have a whole bunch of little diced pieces in the catcher. Repeat for each of the 8ths.

Very good until part broke
This was very good initially with two minor issues. The part that catches the pieces after chopping pops off very easily and has on numerous occasions caused a huge mess with veggies flung everywhere. Second, it does often require a good amount of force. I do like the small grid that allows for very small pieces. My biggest issue with this item is that at the one year mark the plastic insert piece that helps you clean the grid started breaking. We use this item 1-3x per month. Now the piece is completely broken and useless. The chopper is amazingly frustrating to clean without it. Pieces of food get stuck in the plastic grid and you have to use a knife and pick out the pieces one by one as using the faucet generally won’t remove these pieces even when using the concentrated nozzle. Any efficiency gained from chopping time is now used back up cleaning. I’m hoping someone from the company will be willing to send us a replacement part or unit.

This thing is awesome! Just use common sense.....
This makes cutting up veggies a breeze, especially onions! When I say use common sense, there are reviews of the "clear container" coming off. Well that did happen to me but I was being careless. Once there's a lot of weight in the container it can pop off. Just make sure when you're handling and taking the container off to support it as you turn over the chopper.

Hard to use.
Bad design on the cup attachment makes this hard to use. Already replaced it with the fullstar version.

Patatas perfectas para freir, muy contenta con el producto. Es el segundo que compro porque del uso el primero se partió... pero mas que amortizado.

I'm so glad I bought this! I originally saw a review of it on crazy Russian hacker's youtube channel, and I was like thats perfect. I'm really sensitive to onions, EVERY SINGLE TIME I cut one my eyes start burning from the moment I make the first cut. It's unbearable. With this I no longer have to deal with that anymore. It chops it quick and easy, I love that it collects into a little container. Just makes my life ten times easier. Its really sturdy and sharp (warning: don't touch the blades with bare hands, even lightly.) I slightly touched it when I was moving it, didn't even put any pressure and it sliced my finger.

I love the ease of chopping onion and even garlic (using the smaller attachment). Just peel the onion, chop in half, put in-between the crocodile and whack! Beautifully and evenly chopped onions and no tears! Perhaps if I was to buy it again I would opt just for the medium copper attachment as I don’t use the garlic one much. But the medium a lone didn’t come in the stainless steel one. Overall very good if a little expensive. I make a beautiful fine mixed salad with it and I chop everything from cucumber to tomato, peppers and even lettuce with it. The tomatoes peppers and cucumber I have to slice first but it’s worth it as it’s all evenly sized and tastes so nice. The lettuce does get caught in the squares but I use a brush on it first before putting in dishwasher. Love the product
