Standard Microscope Cover Slips, 1 Thick, 22x22mm, Karter Scientific 211Z3 (Pack of 200)

There are a lot of comments on here about how these coverslips are fragile, but that is true of all glass coverslips. They are very thin pieces of glass and can break if you are rough with them. If you are expecting to use them with kids then it would probably be best to use plastic ones, they are not as clear, but they are much safer.These slips came nice and clean, are of good quality, and came in a nice box. The main issue I had and the reason for 4 stars is that on arrival about 7 of the coverslips were broken. Now I see that as something to be expected whenever I get coverslips mailed as they are very fragile thing and did not seek any sort of a refund (so I cannot say if they would have done so), but still because of that they get a 4 out of 5.

We go through a lot of cover slips because we have to check our elderly dogs urine daily. Because what we’re looking for is so small a clean cover slip is important. I haven’t found cover slips yet that didn’t require any cleaning but for the most part they are clean enough directly from the case. They also have a packet of dessicant inside the case so you don’t have issues with multiple slips sticking together when you’re trying to get only one out. We will order these again.

just open the pack super clean! i have bought cover slips from amscope and they always seam so have specs on the even thought they say pre cleaned. i always had to clean them a little.... These are clean right from the start! the box is great easy to access and close and without taking out more then one slip and trying to put back back. i will be buying more and for the price i will not be washing clover slips any more.

They are clean and clear right from the package. They break, rather than shatter, so they are much less of a health threat should something go wrong.The plastic case arrived with a broken hinge, but it's not a big issue for me.

Just like any other coverslips I have used - maybe a little bit more resistant to breaking than some of the others I have used. They do the job well.

Definitely not lab-grade clean (you can see the dust particles when you change the Z-plane in the microscope, but you can zoom past those to your sample's Z-plane), but good enough for it's intended use in an outreach event, especially for the price!

Excellent quality for the price. I've been buying microscope slides and cover slips for over 30 years, Karter Scientific is now my go to company.

Not much technology to making a microscope cover slip.Interestingly, if you put the word "medical" in front of anything, the price is multiplied x 10.This is exactly the same quality as what one would obtain for a medical office from a medical supply house at a tiny fraction of the price. Yay Amazon!

My wife use them to do craft work. Nothing scientific, but they do the job fine .
