A lot of these clock outlets are poorly made and have only one outlet. They are made primarily for hanging TV's so the plug is indented in the wall. Having a dual plug structure allows for plugging in a TV and a Soundbar, or a TV and a streaming stick.Made well and cheaper than the distributors single outlet.

Installed a bathroom led mirror with power wire hidden on the back. Mounted this recessed receptacle (onto a Legrand TV box kit because of mirror's stupid big power plug) and added wire from a GFCI next to it. Wiring is straightforward. This receptacle does its job well. Very recommend.

Easy to install, make life so much easier our bed is right against an outlet and these allow us to actually utilize that outlet!

This is a pretty deep receptacle so you're going to need a deep box to fit it into. The cover plate isn't as big as I would have liked, and it's also not the sturdiest I've ever seen. For the price I would say this was a good buy.

Nice compact design, well built at 1/2 the price of others. Using for can neon signs, allows for the plug to be hidden .

I needed recessed outlets for my narrow home theater and needed to put the seating hard up against the side walls, but required to plug in the recliner power. This looked like a good choice over a full TV-style recessed work box.Well, I was really disappointed in these - very poor overall quality of product. The price was good, but honestly wish I'd spent more for Leviton (can only hope those would be better, though, have not experienced those to compare fairly)First, the plastic shroud is cheap and flimsy looking. Next, when installing, I think the ground lug must be made of 'cheese'; when tightening the screw it bent horribly - had to straighten and hold with pliers while trying to get good torque on the screw with the screwdriver.If you have anything less than a very deep box, and with multiple romex (as most do - one in and one out) then trying to shoe-horn this in is tough. I did manage, and in fairness, this aspect would be expected of any similar product, but this is a heads-up to see what you have in your workbox before you purchase.And lastly, the surround is of minimal size - even modestly larger size would have been appreciated.When I look at the overall ratings I am pretty shocked that they are so high - very misleading. I think I was generous in giving it a 2. They do the job, but it's just not a quality product.

easy install, great for behind a dresser or other furniture. I installed one behind my piano so I could plug in my light without a gap. Perfect!
