Tattoo Tarot: Ink & Intuition

Fabulous deck for imagery, symbolism and card quality. My first pips deck and I’m loving being able to read with numbers, suits and symbols without all of the extra imagery in the minors. Also to note that one review says the deck is printed wrongly - with justice and strength in the wrong positions. However, tarot decks originally had justice as 8 and strength as 11 in the majors and this is a Marseilles style deck which is why they’re in this order. It’s only once you hit the Golden Dawn years that they get switched. So they are correct, but they’re not the same as the order in RWS decks/clones.

Stunning card designs of an amazing quality. Thicker than others I've used but I appreciate the sturdiness of them. Detailed booklet with some spreads and a lovely introduction passage - brief card descriptions, but I feel it leaves way for a more personal bond/reading. My first reading felt like coming home to an old friend. I'd been hemming and hawing on whether to buy them and im glad I did so I recommend doing the same, especially if they've been on your mind for a while. Beautiful storage box with an eye catching design.

Great quality and well designed cards for the price. Very good card imagery in a solid sturdy tuck box with an informative book. I use this deck mostly for timings with the pip cards. A productive buy.

This deck won't be for everyone, it's a pip deck of the Tarot of Marseilles style. However, I think it is absolutely beautiful with some stunning traditional tattoo imagery throughout . Considering how low the price is, the card stock is really good, it comes in a really sturdy beautiful box and also has an informative little white book for those who need it. I'm really impressed and I can't wait to use it

Hard to shuffle because of their size good price though and worth the money but not suitable for beginners who want some more substantial meanings to the cards but good for those looking to just scratch up if they have been away from reading for a while also good novelty value

I collect and use tarots but I am not a pro. I love Rider Waite based decks, Crowley's Thoth and those based on the Golden Dawn like Hermetic and Jungian. I love this deck as it looks the coolest deck out there and resemble the Marseille deck, with cool major arcana and court cards, rather flat pip cards all are cool tattoo style cards. They are made of excellent paper stock and not at all glossy nor shiny. They are a good size, they look and handle good. Brilliant!!

I actually got this for my first tarot set as you're supposed to go with a set you're drawn to and I kept coming back to these. They're gorgeous and high quality, the box makes them feel special but also easily transportable, the booklet is really useful if a tad confusing when trying to locate the exact card you're after. I will say if you're looking for a tarot deck that provides typical images for interpretation (eg suits are usually situational a sword carried by a person) this deck might not be for you as the style goes for more simplicity than story telling.

I can't put into words how much I love this deck. As soon as I had them in my hands they felt like a soul deck. Yes, this is a pip deck, but I don't agree with the common opinion that pip decks are not good for beginners. I think learning on a pip deck teaches you about the numerology of tarot, which is important to understand with any decks and readings. So I'd say this is great for both beginners and advanced readers. The cards themselves are thick and beautifully designed with a gorgeous matt finish. This is a chunky deck and feels really nice in your hands. The card backs have a vintage playing card feel which fits perfectly with the artwork. It comes with a booklet that doesn't have a huge amount of information in it, but there is so much online and in books that you can easily learn more if you want to. The booklet is sufficient to get started. It's all packed in a sturdy and very pretty box and there's a matching journal and colouring work book you can buy separately to use with this deck if you'd like to. Just a beautiful, beautiful deck! Highly recommend!
