Hello Kitty Island Adventure - Deluxe Edition Nintendo Switch

Loved the idea of this game when it came out, but was hard to play on a phone. Much easier on the Switch! Sometimes long load times but considering it’s supposed to be a cozy game the waiting isn’t the worst, especially since the rest is fun. Definitely strong hints of Animal Crossing but with its own unique features- I enjoy the underwater areas and being able to interact more with the characters via the quests.

This game, especially it being deluxe is worth every single penny. I’ve been asking Sublink, the developers, to port this game over to Switch for so long and they finally delivered. I’m so glad this game has been freed from the shackles of it only being on Apple Arcade. While I own Apple devices I feel that the game is best played on switch.Now let’s talk about the game play. The gameplay is utterly adorable. The graphics are so cute and stunning. You have something to do daily- which is an absolute plus for me. You have daily quest. You give gifts daily to all the Sanrio friends on the island which is super nice to do. The dialogue, the chatter, the banter amongst the characters is so comical & adorable! There’s never a dull moment with them at all. The different areas on the island give a nice, resort like experience. The quests and unlocks you are really fun & fulfilling. You really won’t be able to stop playing!!I can see myself giving this game a whopping 150+ hours on this. I love love love this game! I can’t wait for more updates. Thank you Sublink!!

BEST GAME EVER ! at least for me, I love Sanrio and cozy games and this is perfect, it does have a bit of lag here and there from time to time but it’s honestly a great game. If you like doing missions, grinding for materials and leveling up characters. This is your game!

If you like cozy style games, this perfect for you. Plenty to explore, play at your own pace. I didn't know it at the time I bought the game, but they just came out with a new update that you can download which gives you even more places. It's almost like getting 2 games in one.

Fun game for my granddaughter. A bit difficult for younger or reading disabled children.

I am enjoying this game, even though I am an adult woman! I know that I am supposed to play every day, but I just pick it up on days when I have time. Happily, there are no weeds for me to pick to punish me for not playing every day. I am enjoying exploring the large island areas. I am still trying to figure out how to climb the large hill to finish my first mission, and I have no idea of how to buy clothing, so I guess I need to look those things up. However, I like the sense of accomplishment when I finish quests on my own. Great game!

Insanely cute game. Lots of references to humor adults that wouldn't be inappropriate for kids either. Cute artstyle and lots to do.Some notes about gameplay:It's very animal crossing but with waaaaay more to do. It's actually a little overwhelming sometimes how much there is to do. It's a bit handholdy in the beginning but after that you better read if you want any idea what you're doing. Lots of stuff is tied to your friendship with the characters to be sure to work on that and gift em up each day. You CANNOT do everything in 1 real day and that's okay, so this is a game you're meant to take slow and enjoy. Swapping between tools can be annoying but I found that tapping L or R is faster than using the dumb wheel most of the time. Oh and hoard everything, you never know when you'll need it.Oh also, Froggy Power comic is my enemy. I can't find it and I'm stuck on this quest till I do. Beware the comics.
