No aftertaste, just pure honey. Supposedly this type of honey never crystalizes with storage, but both times I bought it, it was so delicious that I ate it all right away, and didn't store it for more than a week. LOL, maybe that's the reason it never crystalizes....because it doesn't get stored!If you are LDS you might be interested to know that this is the deseret honey that Nephi's family ate in the land Bountiful. No wonder they took it abord their ships!

Ive bought many types of high end honey, this is as good as it gets for texture and flavor. Pleased with all aspects of this purchase

I tried this honey as soon as it arrived., only about a teaspoon on toast. It irritated my throat and had me coughing for ten minutes. I'm questioning it's purity and will not be able to use it. It has the texrure of corn syrup and is possibly adulterated.
