These sheets work
My dermatologist has decided to make a patchwork quilt oif my back. I am keeping him in the manner to which he is accustomed, however every time he slices a piece off my UV burned back I need to use a scar patch to help the healing process after the wound closes up. That's what happens when you spend your youth outside in the sun. These sheets work and really reduce the scarring effect, especially when a nasty one is excised.

I just finished the entire box
I just finished using the entire box on two skin biopsy scars I have on my left leg. One of the scars is just under a year old and the other is almost 2 years old. From about 1 week in, I was leaving the patches on 24+ hours each time (I'd put them on right after showing). The recent biopsy scar I have on my left thigh showed the most 'change'. By that I mean, the discoloration around the scar seemed less so and I can't tell if I notice much difference on the older scar. Now, the box does say, depending when you got the scar, it could take months to notice change. I believe that If I buy more and kept at it, it would diminish my older scar. I believe that because I noticed a difference on my new scar, but that wasn't until I was almost done with the entire box of patches. SO, to this, I will say it DOES work but you will need to invest in time and several boxes (depending) to see those changes.Pro Tip: Depending on the size of your scar, you could cut up each square into smaller squares/shapes to fit your needs. I did that since my scars were small and I was able to stretch out the box/pads.

Really great, easy to use silicone scar treatment!
I am very pleased with the high quality of this roll of scar tape. I've used silicone sheets on scars in the past, and I've found the roll style to be a lot more convenient; not only can it be cut to size more easily but there's also less material wasted. If you require wider coverage than the 1.6-inch strip allows, it's very easy to layer them for full coverage. The outer layer is smooth to the touch, and my clothes glide right over it. The inner layer is sticky silicone that adheres to skin/scar tissue very well - I've been wearing the same patch for about 6 days (and 3 showers) now, and as you can see from my included pic it's still pretty secure; one corner has come up enough that it won't go back down and a second corner isn't too far behind. I plan to remove the patch and wash for reuse, and I expect it will last another couple of weeks before I need a new piece entirely. The scar I'm treating is a raised surgical scar that has been healed for over a year. Based on my previous experiences treating scars with silicone, I'm not expecting to see any results for several months. When it comes to scar treatment, the sooner you start, the quicker and better the results will be. If you begin soon enough, the treatment period could be as short as 4-6 weeks, as opposed to the 4-6 months I'm expecting it to take to begin seeing results on this one. Between massaging the scar tissue and using the silicone, I'm fairly sure it will flatten out most of the way, and the discoloration should lighten considerably - but I'm expecting the process to take up to a year to complete. That being said, I'm certain that with the size of my scar and the high quality adhesion, this one roll will last the full course of treatment. I'd also like to mention that although my skin is very sensitive and I'm allergic to most adhesives, this tape cause absolutely no irritation or even discomfort to my skin - it should be safe for anyone to use.I would highly recommend this silicone tape to anyone wanting to treat their raised/discolored scars, especially if the scar is very fresh for best results. It will still work on old scars, but you'll not see any difference for quite some time so persistence is key.

Multi uses
Purchased these silicone scar sheets for multiple reasons. I intended to use them for wrinkles on my face, but ended up applying them to old scars as well. Time will tell if they work or not but they do not irritate my skin and are easy to use.

Silicone Scar Sheets - Cut To Fit Your Specific Scar(s)
I have only been using this scar treatment for a few days, so it's too soon to tell how effective it will be. What I can say at this point is that it's easy to use, and comfortable to wear. It's water resistant, and can be washed, dried and reworn. The scar treatment comes in a roll, and you just cut off a piece to cover the scar you're treating. The scar needs to be at least 7 days old and not oozing or crusty in order to use this. It can also be used on old scars, which is what I'm doing. The first 2 days of treatment, the directions say to use the scar pad for 4 hours. On the 3rd and 4th days of treatment you use it for 8 hours. On days 5 and 6 you use it for 12 hours. You keep increasing the number of hours you wear it over the course of 13 days until you're wearing it 24 hours a day.The directions say it will take 6-8 weeks of treatment to see results on new scars, and 4-6 months to for old scars. Treatment has to be consistent.I have a raised bump that was checked by my dermatologist and found to be domed scar tissue. She said insurance would not cover its removal, because it is benign. I have started using this scar treatment on it and will have to use it every day over the next 4-6 months before I can hope to see results. It's hard to rate this product, because it takes so long to work, and I've only been using it for a few My initial rating is 4 stars based on the comfort, , water resistance, washability, flexibility (being able to cut the silicone to fit the scar) and value of the product. I will try to remember to come back in 4-6 months if I see substantial improvement, or if I don't see improvement in that timeframe.
