Excellent for a road trip!
These are such a great thing to have on a road trip! I keep one open on the floor of the car ( for "just in case" moments, but my 2 guys are not car fans so they usually just try to pretend they are not in a speeding box of metal doom and avoid all typical behavior). I used to travel with a regular smaller-sized litter box and a jug of litter, but it is such a pain in the buttinski to haul all that, plus their bag with food and bowls and water, plus all my stuff, plus two cats in crates, in to the hotel every night, and then schlep it all back out to the car again each morning. I was also not a fan of having to handle a germy litter box every time we arrived and departed. Now I just keep these handy in the car and grab one each night when we go in. I always remember to take along extra trash bags, and then seal the used litter box up in a fresh garbage bag and leave it with the trash (a little extra trip for the room cleaner is a nice idea, too, even if they don't really have to handle the box; there might be a little litter that gets tracked out). These really have made travelling so much easier for me, and the cats have adjusted just fine to them. Even though it is a different type of litter than they are used to, and the box is smaller than their regular litter box, they have no problem using it. I used to be able to buy them at my local pet store, but they stopped carrying them for some reason. I was worried they no longer made them, and was thrilled when I found them on Amazon. I would highly recommend these for anyone on a road trip with cats.

Shallow litter under a piece of paper that is not secure.
Liked the fact that this idea would work if made of sturdier material. I bought a one in the grocery store and was pleased. However, when I ordered a few and opened the box the litter boxes were shipped in, a huge mess fell out and scattered everrywhere. Nothing was packed around the product to hold it still. The paper on the top was too thin and was not secure. Every box had torn open. Grains of litter went everywhere and the whole shipment was a loss. It was too awful to put back together to return to seller.

These are fragile, but very well packed!
So difficult to get these days. Perfect for traveling or everyday use. My worry was shipping damage but they were packed as if they were Waterford crystal! Kudos to the folks in the packing room!

Excellent under specific circumstances.
I occasionally foster kittens and this is perfect for those situations. The pans are pretty small, so I don't think they would work for an adult cat. There is also a correspondingly small amount of litter, so I had to change the pan much more frequently than the week it claims to last. One of the major benefits to this is no litter dust from pouring new litter. The dust from other litters sets off my allergies in a major way, and almost always triggers an asthma attack. Since this has litter built in, I don't have that issue. I also appreciate that these are made of recycled material, so I don't feel as wasteful as I otherwise would by using disposable litter pans.

This price is more than the grocery store price
I use this product and like it. However, at the price Amazon is currently selling it, which equates to $14.71 per disposable tray, it is substantially more than I pay at two of my local grocery stores which charge $13.19 per tray. I am a big fan of utilizing Amazon for purchases as it is more convenient, but at this price point, I will go to my grocery store and purchase them. I gave this product only two stars based exclusively on the price. The actual product is great and very convenient. 4-26-14 I just saw this product on sale at the grocery store for approximately $2.50 per litter box.

Essential Trays if You're Traveling With A Cat!!
This kit is a must if you are moving a long distance!!! We just moved from Pennsylvania to Florida and stopped in NC overnight. The night we stayed we locked the cat into the second bathroom of our hotel and put this in the bathtub. As a bit of backstory, our cat is 11 and for the past 8 years has had to be on prozac to stop him peeing outside the box. He didn't have a problem using this box the night in the hotel, even though he was really stressed from traveling, and for the following two days once we got to our new house we kept him in the second bathroom with more of these trays while we unloaded our moving truck. He had no problem using the trays and they were very easy to throw away and replace every day. For the price and convenience of these trays, I would highly recommend them for traveling!

The trays were busted.
Several of the trays trays were cracked and the litter was spilling out of the tray into the box. One of the trays was empty and had no litter in it. It was an all in one disposable litter tray with the litter. I purchased them for traveling. It should have been packaged more securely to prevent cracking of trays and spilling of litter. I would advise against ordering these all in one disposable litter trays. If they were boxed up in a better manner they wouldn’t have busted and litter spill out.

Good short-term solution...
I think the concept is great and a good idea for short-term use but the litter is not deep enough for the cat to use more than 2-3 days and that's a stretch. My cat kept pooing outside of the box because it wasn't large enough or deep enough for her to urinate and defecate without her stepping in one or the other. So this sorta worked for when I went out of town for a few days and didn't want someone to have to scoop the soiled litter out.
