I saw a lot of reviews saying that putting the foot rest back into a down/locked position was very difficult. Maybe the manufacturer changed the product, maybe I got lucky, maybe I am stronger than all the others (not very likely) but for me this is a very comfortable chair and with ease I can put the foot rest down and lock it; no issues. I also saw comments saying the foot rest needed more padding, well, maybe. If I lay my ankles/feet on the rest it is fine, if I set my feet against the edge of the rest then not so great, but hey, the intention is to lay your feet on it not push against it. The cats love it too! I may never be able to put the rest down as they now see that as their place to sit. Fabric is easy to clean (cat hair can be an issue) and it makes my living room seem a lot larger (I removed the full sized couch and put this in, only need room for me and the cats). The back on this is high and I wanted that to help support my neck. After all day looking at a computer monitor at work I wanted a high backed chair to rest in and this works great. Very pleased.

Easy to assemble, large and overall a nice chair. Very roomy and doesn't "look" cheap, however, I'm disappointed with the thin cushioning. The arms are hard, almost straight on wood with no cushion. Also, the foot rest is very hard and also lacks cushion. Works as a comfy enough lounge chair for brief moments. Unfortunately, not comfy enough for long cozy snuggles which is why I bought it in the first place.

This chair is just what I was looking for. Easy to assemble and very affordable compared to other oversized chairs. However, it’s not so comfortable. It’s somewhat stiff and hard. But it fits me and my grandkids or me and the dog and cat comfortably! A throw pillow and lap blanket make it cozy. Surprisingly sturdy .

Listen to the bad reviews , piece of crap , frame already broken in less than 1 month , chair wont go down without a fight . My palm of my hands split open, arm muscle torn from fighting to get this down. Im handicapped and over 400 pounds , bought this because it said was tested to support up to 800 pounds , bs . I couldnt rebox and send back because again im disabled so I basically threw my money away on this chair . Had to call the fire dept non emergency number to help me out of the chair because leg area wldnt go down w the broken frame. So embarrassing. Never buy this brand , horrrible.

I'm 5'11, 238 lbs. and at day one I find that the seat cushion lacks support for my body type. The weight capacity for the recliner is 250lbs. The seat cushion sinks in the center of the recliner when I'm not reclined! The recliner states it's a two seater but not at my size but it's very roomy. I'm highly doubtful this recliner will support my body at my current weight. The durability is highly unlikely. The headrest is the perfect height to support my head but lacks neck support! I find myself having to change my head position constantly! The lumbar position is perfect for my body. There are two recline positions which are the best features of the recliner. In the recline position it's comfortable. My shins rest on the footrest with my ankles and feet hang over the edge. However to put the footrest position down it's impossible for me! I have to stand and push in with my hand to restore recliner to an up right position.

For health reasons back in 2021 I had to stop sleeping on my side, and since we could not afford to buy an adjustable bed or frame it was suggested that I try a recliner. I found this recliner after a lot of searching, and I was genuinely surprised by how great it was when it arrived. I slept comfortably on that chair every single night for almost a full year. At that point I had to get a new one as sleeping on it nightly wasn't really what it was designed for, and so the padding became compressed to the point where all I could feel was the wooden board of the back of the chair pressing into my lower back at night. This became painful, and so we replaced it. The second one was even better than the first one. It had thicker padding, and even lasted about two months longer than the 1st one did. Sadly, though, it did give out in December 2022, and I had to order a replacement. Due to money constraints we couldn't get it replaced until last week (January 11th, 2023. It arrived on January 14th, 2023. I realized immediately that it was not as good as the 2nd one I got. The padding wasn't as thick, there was a weird metal bar at the back of the seat that presses into your backside when you recline, and the padding on the backing didn't come down far enough to prevent the wooden board from pressing into my lower back. I am writing this at 3:59am on January 17th, 2023 instead of sleeping, because the bar and the wooden board are causing me so much pain that I can not recline in the chair for more than a couple minutes. I am extremely disappointed by this last purchase. I truly thought that by the time my health problems were resolved (have made excellent progress in the last couple years) that I would be able to come here and leave a rave review expressing how much these chairs helped get me through some seriously difficult times, but instead I'm having to come here to tell them that they have lost a customer. I will not be buying another one of these in the future, and if possible I plan to return this one as soon as I can so I can try to find something else to sleep on instead. I was truly impressed by this chair the first two times, but this last one showed me I can't trust that this company will ever provide me with a consistently trustworthy and sturdy product. If you're buying this just to relax in from time to time it's not terrible, but even then you can't trust that it won't show up with less padding than shown or padding that slides up and exposes your body to painful wooden boards or metal bars.
