Just picked up this mini dashcam from Amazon and I’m honestly impressed. First off, it’s tiny — like, you almost forget it’s even there once it’s mounted. It tucks away neatly behind the rearview mirror, and unless you're really looking for it, you'd never know it's installed. Super discreet.The video quality is way better than I expected for something this small. Daytime footage is super crisp and clear, and even at night, the visibility is solid — headlights, license plates, street signs, all easy to make out. No weird glare or grainy mess like I’ve seen with cheaper cams.Setup was easy, the app works fine, and so far it’s been reliable with no hiccups. Definitely happy with the purchase. If you’re looking for something low-profile that doesn’t sacrifice quality, this one’s a win.

I am replacing my older Vantrue T2 which has severed me well and is still quite functional.As for the Element 1 Pro (E1 Pro)PROS:Well made, compact, good form factor and capabilities, voice activated features, good mount with quick magnetic disconnect for the camera. Mobile app is pretty intuitive. Many manual settings to get it the way you want it *con also after a firmware update*. CPL filter works great and installs and adjusts easily. Video quality day/night. Price *catch it on sale. Wide field of view 158-160 degree. View, save or delete images, and video right from the mobile app.CONS: Cam housing will get hot when in direct sunlight *(This does not seem to bother the cams functions), **When doing firmware updates all of your settings revert back to default including your WIFI password! This is a security vulnerability if you do not remember to change it from the factory default IMO. There were some bugs in the firmware which Vanture has stated as being corrected once you do the firmware update. User manual is vague and you may need to visit the website for details on certain features such as Vantrue Intelligence which I have not tested yet. Mobile app can be somewhat sluggish when first opened, suggest to use 5G if possible on setup. Camera boot up takes a few seconds, I'm guessing it's doing system checks.Overall I am happy with my purchase. When you first go to position your camera on your windshield, please use the app to view the full recorded display. The cubes 1.4" read display only shows a cropped version of what is actually recorded.

Best Ford facing vehicle camera I’ve ever had. I’ve purchased four front and facing vehicle cameras over the last five years. Some failed due to heat, some simply failed, and the last one had huge gaps in the video (usually at the time I needed it most).This camera has a great picture, overlapping video clips, so nothing’s missed and it has yet to ever fail me in getting the videos when I need them.This camera is easy to install and looks good due to its smaller size. It is a great product at a great price.

This is a great dash cam, it works very well and was straight forward to install and interface the phone application with my iPhone. I decided to hardwire the camera to my vehicle and after a few hours of installing and hiding the wires the wire kit was defective, it had a bad power block. I ended up purchasing a second Van True wiring kit only to have it bad also, ended up going with the Rove hard wire kit and it worked flawless. I was able to hide all wires and it interfaced with the fuse block very nicely.The Van True 4K E1-Pro-Mini is a great dash cam unit, the video quality and the software are terrific.

I'm not practiced at installing dash cameras but I am technical. The camera came with a polarizing filter with clear protective film front and back. The camera lens came with a clear protective film. The camera images were poor until all the films were removed! Nothing in the instructions said anything about the films. Image quality is good without the protective films but it took a couple of tries before I found them all. There are no instructions on setting the rotation angle of the polarizer.There lots of options on setting up the camera. They are very small icons on the very small screen. You may need reading glasses! The manual also is printed with tiny print and diagrams.A plus is that the camera removes easily from the car through a magnetic connector. Plug it into power and remove it from the windshield to do the setup otherwise the view can be obscured by the rear view mirror even if it's twisted to give clearance. Again, nothing is said in the manual about this problem.It is a small camera but the mounted height is enough to make it hard to hide completely behind a Volkswagen rear view mirror.It seems to be running warm for an electronic device. We will see if it survives the Summer in the Pacific Northwest.

Was able to score this during prime day sale and quite happy with the value. Was looking for a single channel new Sony imx sensor and this fit the bill. Super easy install and picture/video quality is great. Build quality is also solid! Very nice WiFi functionality to hook up with the phone app and set this little guy up vs doing it on the camera itself. No issues with overheating on the latest firmware.
