Gifted to a person that plans on visiting many of the Frank Lloyd Wright homes. Excellent pictures and information. A heavy coffee table book.

Great coffee table book
Bought this for my dad for his birthday as FLW is his favorite architect. The book has some lesser known projects which are really cool. Great print quality, glossy pages, and hours of entertainment! Heavy sucker though

Very complete history of Wright’s thinking and great views of Wright designed houses
As I travel I am trying to visit Houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright that are open to the public as featured in the book Wright Sites by Joel Hoglund Ed. Many of the houses designed by Wright are not open to the public. This book Frank Lloyd Wright The Houses by Alan Hess allows Wright enthusiasts to see many of these homes. The photographs by Alan Weintraub are excellent and show the beauty of Wright designed spaces. This book surpassed my expectations. I thought it would be mainly pictures, which would at least allow me to experience non public Wright sites. The included copy is informative, especially concerning the evolution of Wright’s thinking. This is an excellent book for anyone interested in architecture.

Such a Gorgeous Book

Great photos and stories
This book was packed poorly, and one of the corners of the cover is smashed. The packers at Amazon threw it in a box with no packing to prevent it from sliding around.As others have stated, the binding is a weak point.The content is fascinating.

A big, heavy book full of amazing photos and commentary. Very well packaging kept the book protected on all sides.If the occasion arises I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again from this seller.

In awe at first sight
This book amazed me from the moment I held the box it came in.Truely a mastermind at archetecture from the late 1800's, this man must've amazed his clientel with his fantastic abilities to take his imagination to paper, drawing what to the average mind seems impossible to achieve. Viewing the photos in this book will take your senses on a joy ride. From the beauty of the woodwork, to the mathametical puzzles of his angular structures, you'll feel as though you have been living in a simple world until you share a short part of Mr. Wright's. By far, the very best book I have ever bought, and will recomment to anyone who can appreciate a man that has passed on. His works all over the country will continue to show us what an amazing icon he was.Everyone should page through this book at least once!

As good as it gets.
This was a truly spectacular book about FLW and I could not be more pleased. After an abysmal service from another supplier for a used book in disgraceful condition, I got this from Amazon for about the same price and it was brand new !

L'essentiel de ses constructions Californiennes n'est pas traité. Et pourtant le meilleur.
En effet une grande partie du travail de Franck Lloyd Wright, mais son parcours n'est pas tout intéressant, et l'essentiel (les maisons sur la côte ouest, ou bord de mer) n'ont visiblement, pas eu d'autorisation pour être photographié. Retour.

I admired the quality of the book and its huge factual content and its magnificent house photos.
