At first it tasted like alil over roasted or smt but that instantly dissappear after two drinks. I need my coffee to be strong because even 400mg a day doesn't do shi for me. Sleepy Owl's espresso has a good aroma, perfect taste and most importantly it is actually really strong so normal coffee drinkers should not take alot when making this. Davidoff and sleepy owl are the only ones I trust for my coffee among all the brands that I've tried until now.

Its strong and only half spoon is sufficient for making you stay awake for whole night. Taste although is good but not like cafe brewed. still would recommend it

I have a good coffee tasting experience of wide range of varieties over long term, both instant and filtered. I bought this based on their website claims: "Xpresso is made of 100% Premium Robusta Beans." "Xpresso is specifically crafted to be stronger and more intense than regular coffee." "It's not for the weak hearted but perfect for those who love a strong and bold coffee." "Dark, rich taste that's as indulgent as it gets." "Xpresso is the coffee of your darkest and boldest dreams" I was disappointed immediately on opening the seal & doing a smell test. The prepared milk-sugar coffee also confirmed my first impressions. - EXPECTED: Any of smoky dark, nutty, chocolaty, woody, spicy, punchy Robusta aroma & taste (examples: Nescafe Classic, Nescafe Gold Blend made in South Korea imported by Nestle India, Nescafe Gold Blend Roastery Dark, Continental Speciale, LAVAZZA IL Mattino Vivace ground, Continental Malgudi 80-20 ground, several Robusta/blended specialty ground filter coffees) - FOUND: Blueberry type Sweety Fruity, smooth milky-malty with touches of chicory, like some packaged flavored drink (examples: Toffee Coffee Roasters "Ethiopia" 100% Arabica, Bevzilla "Iced" 100% Arabica, Bru "Extra/super strong" which unfortunately means 43% chicory, TGL Co. Signature Instant Filter Coffee 47% chicory are all which I felt tasted like flavored drinks more than coffee) I was sad about the TGL one & ordered this as a potential anti-dote of opposite kind. Now I have 2 * 100 gm of this drink type to consume! What a waste.. Too many Indian coffee companies have jumped into this money-making race, simple formula just claim "100% Arabica", "Specialty" and done you can quote high prices and sell to lacs of naive/inexperienced Indian coffee new-fans getting into the viral global trend. Will society accept me now if I say I don't want 100% Arabica man!!! Its good for foreign pro people and fitness enthusiasts drinking black. For a proper milk coffee with a classic smoky refreshing morning wake up jolt aroma & taste, I don't want just those "sweety fruity flavored packaged drink/mocktail" type 100% arabica stuff that doesn't feel like coffee in the first place! Sidenote from Economics & Agriculture: Arabica needs pampering, expensive to grow, difficult / pest-prone, high water consuming, hence becoming scarce causing inflated prices. So Robusta has slowly become high in demand, its a necessity for the future of coffee. Taste-wise both have their distinct features, so enjoy both at different times/seasons/moods/recipes, or use blends. Stop considering Robusta a cheap inferior replacement. I love Robusta for milk. Pure is fine. A blend with some Arabica or 20% Chicory is fine for other times.
