Great little brooding box for classroom hatching! Our five chicks fit nicely. Probably could fit another one or two. The food silo didn't work very well, so I just used it for water and put the food in a small dish in the corner. Adjustable heat lamp was perfect! Definitely recommend for classroom use!

Being completely transparent I bought this in a pinch and I not been rushed this would not have been my first choice.Now it will function like it’s supposed too for birds I don’t know so much about reptiles but for baby chickens it functioned fine. Idk how well the thermostat works I have 2 in there and analog reptile one and the one that came with it. Because I don’t trust the one that came with it.Sturdiness isn’t great, if you have a rowdy household this may not survive that. They had drill holes too big for some of the screws as well so there’s that.If the birds make doo doo on the wood I can’t see that being super easy to clean out of the wood but they have the little wee wee pads for in there so there’s birds have that to make a mess on.Assembly was annoying but it came together. They had drill holes too big for the screws in it. But everything came in 1 piece. Honestly I was scared I’d have an electrical fire because the socket and wires were not connected and idk anything about electrical anything but i figured it out and no one got injured in the process.For the money I guess it’ll due, but I’m gonna sell it probably and get something different. 4- 1 day old chicks barely have room.

I was excited to receive this product because it included the water and food feeders, light, and thermometer.Like some reviewers mentioned, the batteries came corroded. Since it worked and I was getting my newborn chicks that same day, I decided to keep this product.On the second day of use, I was watching my happy chicks when the light automatically shut off. I checked the cord and everything was normal. I turned the knob and it worked again. I didn’t think much of it.The next day, no one was home. When I came home from work, I saw the light was off. The temperature dropped to 77 degrees instead of 95. That was way too cold for newborn chicks. Unfortunately, my chicks didn’t make it and died. I am still very sad about this. I had to return the product. Reliability is so important when it comes to products like this. Hopefully, it was defective and no one else has to go through what I went through.

This little brooder is perfect for my newly hatched chicks, I’m so pleased with this purchase, it came with everything ! Oh and it’s wood too, So easy to assemble they even included the screw driver, and the food and water dish a thermometer and a supply of pads for the bottom of box. Instructions were great and I recommend this little brooder , I have 12 mini chickens hatching in a few days so I’m ready!!

I really love the box, it was easy to set up and perfect for small animals. Comes with everything including the screw driver. It's medium size not too big and not too small just right. I like that the heating lamp adjusts dim or brighter light.

I really wanted to like this brooder. I’m currently hatching some chicks and would like a small brooder. The wood is alittle thin but you get what you pay for.I would highly suggest putting this together with a drill. Because hand screwing all these in was insane.The heat lamp however didn’t work after I set it up. I think the fuse is broken and also the lamp arrived chipped on the side.The wires are exposed at the back where you’re suppose to secure it to the top of the brooder. I’m alittle sketched out since I’m pretty sure this can easily cause a fire.But! What do I know. I guess I’ll have to buy a brand new lamp for this thing.It’s cute non the less.

The product is great for the price. The adjustable heating lamp works great. The batteries in the package exploded. They were packaged in the same small bag as the feeding trough. So the feeding troughs are no longer safe to use. The food feeder doesn’t have a large enough opening for the chick feed to fall freely without having to shake it every 5-10 mins to allow food to fall through. I used something else for food and used both feeders as water feeders.
