El sonido de este vinilo está muy bien logrado. Si bien hay mejoras en la remasterizacion no se ha perdido la escena original sonido detallado muy abierto y dinámico fiel a la grabación original pero mejorado en los errores y limitantes que supone una grabación de 1962. Lo recomiendo ya que es un clásico de los más vendidos de bossa nova de todos los tiempos

The smooth sounds of Stan Getz and the voice of Ms. Gilberto make for great listening. I had the 78 LP when it came out years ago and I am enjoying listening to their great music again in this CD.

Brazilian classics ,Latin jazz , great rhythms from a great composer . Antonio Jobim one of a kind with Stan Getz , great collectors item.

The rating is based on the sound quality. Other issues are fairly minor and shouldn't really affect the review unless the cover is smashed or bent really badly.You heard that right. This record is one of the best sounding, audiophile-grade records I've had. The closest thing I have is the OG mints and the Rush Remasters from 2015 to compare with.For how cheap this is, you have to wonder what they did to get it to sound this good.Very quiet on the parts with no sound. I can't even hear the needle running across the vinyl. Very clear vocals, sax, and piano. Nothing here is hidden from your ears. You can very distinctly hear the echo in the studio coming into the other mics. Very nice, and very pleasant sounding.The Inner sleeve is a high-quality rice paper sleeve with regular paper on one side.The gatefold is very cool. Presented with the shiny plastic that likes to get fingerprints. Most likely to copy the OG. This pressing sounds better than my mint original copy of this album! This Acoustic Sounds Series is nothing less than phenomenal! Get yourself a copy while you can.

The clarity is superb and very close to as good as many of my 45RPM pressings and possibly as enjoyable.I will likely try more from the Verve Acoustic Sounds series.

Girl from Ipanema! Got to love that! Great mid century album. Definitely takes you back. Listen to it with a martini, you'll understand.

At the price point this DOL pressing is a great alternative to more expensive vinage copies that while originally superior are likely somewhat thrashed by now and would play no better. The music is of course an essential to any jazz collection but this seems like a really nice package. Comes with a poly lined inner which was a pleasant surprise.
