Amazon Basics Less-Mess Cat Litter Box Mat, 24" x 35", Unscented, Brown

This is a good-sized mat that easily catches most of the grains my cat flings outside the litter boxes' immediate perimeter. I like the quality, relative softness, and feel of the PVC mesh material used. This looks like a regular rug whose color helps to mask the scattered gray litter grains. The low cost makes this a worthwhile value. I highly recommend.

Works great! Love the large size! Do keep an eye on your kittens, though! One of our babies liked to chew on everything, (actually, he still does!). He chewed a hole in our first mat when he was just a baby, so we had to remove it and use a different mat for a while. For a baby that tries to chew on everything, it’s definitely a choking hazard, or even a risk of intestinal blockage if a piece were to be ingested, so do keep a close watch on the little ones! That being said, this mat is excellent at trapping litter! Works great!! But it’s a bit hard to clean. I have to take it outside to shake it out, and I still can’t get all the litter out. But as long as you don’t have kitties that like to chew on rubbery things, the pros by far outweigh any cons!

This mat does exactly what I hoped, it traps litter, which means less cleanup around the litter boxes. I like it so much that I’ve purchased three, one for each box! It’s sturdy, looks great, and feels comfortable underfoot. I also love the color and texture, and it’s super easy to clean.

This works beautifully -- just as the description says. I would have given 5 stars but the color is not the gray color as pictured but almost has a light purple tone. I should have gone with the tan color. BUT the mat is trapping the litter which is the main point. It is a game changer!!!! It is sturdy and good looking, comfortable under my feet.

Traps and hides litter well. Easy to vacuum up. Holds up really well. Picture is of mat that hasn't been vacuumed recently. It's hard to notice litter right away.

This mat is simple, but awesome! True to color, perfect size, and actually traps the litter.

Works well & not too expensive! Probably would suggest using this along side another mat but it's way better than nothing & catches a good amount of litter. Color is very brown.

I loved this mat at first because it solved my issue of tracking litter. I’ve tried 3 types of litter but yet my cat always leaves some litter behind. I was sweeping the area every day after work. This mat solved the issue by catching the litter and dust. HOWEVER, this went on successfully for about a week til my cat discovered it was fun for him to play with…yes cats get bored and want to entertain themselves. But I still think it could’ve been made to last through pet play. My cat doesn’t even have claw access bc I put claw caps on him. He uses his teeth to rip this up. It shouldn’t be so easy to tear apart, he’s not rough with it. Luckily he doesn’t have interest in eating it but be warned if your pet does. So now instead of daily litter cleanup , it is chunks of rug every day lol.

El producto estaba en buen estado,va genial para recoger las piedrecitas de mis gatos, cada vez que entran o salen de hacer sus necesidades,ya que aunque son muy limpios,porque ellos escarban para tapar lo que han hecho, sea pipi ó popo, siempre se queda alguna entre sus deditos y al salir las sueltan en la alfombra.

Es buen tapete pero no me sirvió mucho pues a mi gata no le gustó y lo quitaba pero aún así sirve

The product quality is good like most amazonbasics products. It does help trap the litter. Being a bit of a neat freak, earlier I used to sweep up stray litter from the floor every couple hours, but now I do it once or twice a day. Yes, some litter does get stuck inside. The trick is to turn it upside down, lay it flat on the floor and tap it so that the litter beads fall off. However, if your cat gets a hang of scratching it, they will ruin it. My can did it a couple times from underneath but I discouraged that behaviour just like how I discouraged her from digging the litter too much at a young age. So she usually keeps the litter area clean. However, it it not worth the price. You can get one of those green coarse plastic mat used in cars for much cheaper and it will perform in a similar manner.
