Quiet, Portable, Capable
We have a big generator but it’s loud and heavy. We wanted something more portable and quiet for camping and found his beauty. Very light and easy to use. Quiet enough to run all night and not bother everyone. Plenty of wattage to handle all of our camping needs. We certainly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality, generator.

Look no further
I've owned several generators over the years, but the PowerSmart 4800-watt stands out as the best by far. I picked it up shortly after moving to Florida, knowing I’d need a reliable backup for household essentials during power outages. Right out of the box, it was ready to go — no assembly required. After adding oil and gas, it started with just a few pulls of the cord and ran much quieter than any generator I’ve had before. I placed it about 10 feet from the house, and with the door closed, I couldn’t hear it inside at all.Just three weeks after the purchase, a nasty tropical storm knocked out our power. Thankfully, I had also bought two 75-foot, 12-gauge extension cords and two 50-foot, 10-gauge cords — each with three outlets, giving me 12 outlets total. I ran the cords through the house and plugged in three standing fans, three lamps, a full-size Samsung refrigerator, a Primo water cooler, a TV, a modem, a portable air conditioner, and my laptop. With everything running, the generator used a third of its available wattage. We also interchanged a stand-alone 2-burner electric range for boiling water, a Gourmia toaster oven/air fryer, and a coffee maker when needed. The generator ran continuously for over 24 hours, powering all 12 sockets without any issues. The PowerSmart 4800 is solidly built, easy to operate, and it delivered reliable electricity when we needed it most. If you're looking for a dependable generator to keep your essentials running during a blackout, this is it.

Light, portable, and works well
I needed a small generator to power the block heater on my old bus for a recent winter road trip in the northeast US. My bus will not start in cold weather without the block heater, and there's no telling whether hotels have available power sources for this. I also only wanted an inverter generator due to the cleaner power delivery that those offer over traditional generators. This generator had great reviews and was significantly cheaper than an equivalent model at the local discount tool store which is what compelled me to go with this one. Upon receiving this generator, I checked it over and added in some 5W-30 oil, making sure to fill the oil reservoir. I will also note that the generator is relatively light and easily portable; I had no issue toting it around.Regarding actual performance, this generator works great. I've only put a few hours on it so far, but it served its immediate purpose of running my engine block heater each morning during my road trip. It's very quiet and had no issue with powering the block heater (1000W power draw.) I used the eco mode setting for this; I can't speak for other types of electrical loads, but for purely resistive loads such as a heater, the eco mode worked very well.I am looking forward to using this generator more. I think this generator is perfect for use cases such as camping/road-tripping, job-site needs, or any other situation where a small amount of AC power is needed. Only time will tell how durable this generator truly is, but so far, I am impressed.

Smooth, quiet, and efficiency
I am general contractor, we need the power generator for a project that has no electricity. The crew said can't go wrong with a Honda Brand, however the price is $2000ish for the similar features and load. There are many generators available from AMZN, I narrowed to 7 different brands, my final 2 were this and the Champion Brand, I picked this over the Champion due to it is slightly more efficiency and the look. This unit runs very smooth, and pretty quiet. Especially with its ECO mode, one tank of gas can last for few days. The down side for me is that the unit is about 70lbs, which is fine, however with oil and fuel it has over 100lbs. So for me to upload and unload from my work truck is a bite challenge. Otherwise, this is a outstanding generator. I am happy with the purchase.

Works pretty well, although below it's stated output
Everything worked OK. I filled the oil with 30w 4 cycle "break-in" oil.I filled the Gas to 1/4 full with 89 octal non-ethanol gas. After a few pulls to get the gas to the carburetor, I put the gas cap position to ON and the Selector to choke. Started up after a couple pulls, switched to Run. I ran the generator for 1 hour at 50 - 75% load, then I drained and refilled the oil. I did not see any metal debris in the oil that was drained.I connected the generator to my 3.6KV power bank. I set the charge rate on the power bank to 70%. Started the generator. It was charging at 1300 watts. I changed the charging rate to 80% and the generator was putting out 1500W. Then to 90% and the output went up to 1700W. I tried 100% charge rate on the Power Bank, but the generator kicked the load OFF. So, I guess I found the limit was 1700W continuous output. So, it's far below the 2500W, or even 2000W output. But, it will do the job for me.I am changing the oil to a 10W30 synthetic blend at the 10 hour mark. Then again at the 50 hour mark. Then every 100 hours after that. Might be a bit of overkill, but the oil isn't that expensive and fairly easy to change out.

Great for camping!!!
I ordered this generator for our camper because it had the power and was light weight to haul. It started right up and powered everything in the camper. It runs quieter than my house generator which is a plus for camping. Highly recommend.
