Very easy to use. It's perfect to make your own cookbook or any other style of book you need to make. It works perfectly, and I am glad I found it. If you need to make larger books, I would recommend getting a larger comb. It comes with 100, but they are on the smaller side. The combs can be cut to size.

Very easy to use. Works well for the use intended. Very economical to use. Very satisfied with my purchase. I use for binding sewing patterns for bag making. Keeps me organized. Very easy to read and keep the digital patterns I purchase. Less expensive than having them bound elsewhere.

I was in a bind to get some book presentations done for a customer. We could not find the hole punch needed, therefore I took everything home and stopped at home depot to get one. Of course, they did not carry it, so I looked up on Amazon and got it delivered to my house that same evening. It worked perfectly! The bosses were impressed and the customer as well.

This was exceptional value compared to others out there. It is very easy to use, although, I had to watch a u-tube video to figure out how it works as this was the first time binding and there were no instructions in the box. This is a fun way to make workbooks for school groups, projects, conventions etc. I have only one complaint. One of the teeth does not punch through the plastic cover completely requiring that I use scissors to cut it off, that's why I gave the 4 rating, but not worth the hassle of returning it. I will use this over and over again.

I’m impressed. Read the instructions. Buy bigger binds than what comes with it. As a homeschooling family with four kids, I print most of their work vs buying the books. I WISH I’d gone ahead and bought this years ago. I’ve successfully bound six books in the last week. There’s still some tweaking I need to do, but it’s very easy to adjust and use. It feels sturdy. I had to punch no more than about 10 pages at a time, more than that and it stuck. I like that its design serves both purposes - punches holes and binds, without the need for an additional machine. I really don’t even need my traditional 3-ring binders anymore because this makes thin, easy to store books. I tested lots of folded pages! Since I couldn’t get the setting right, where there wouldn’t be an extra notch cut at one end, I punched till I found a whole space at the ends, then marked the line I needed the paper to be on with a thin strip of blue painters tape. That way the knob can’t go past it, and I know where to place my papers/plastic cover if the knob moves unexpectedly. The last note I’ll add, for anyone printing seat work, pay attention to how the pages print. It was super helpful printing on the short edge so the binding clamp was always positioned at the top of the page. Overall: If I’d known what I was missing I’d have bought this years ago. Just buy it! This is a nice machine to add to the collection of tools that make homeschooling easier.

Simple and sturdy for small projects!

Honestly, this made me want to fist fight someone. I am a teacher, so I KNOW how to use a binding machine. Did it for decades. Leaked oil. The cuts were off no matter how I adjusted it. Placing the binding combs were the worst. They were flimsy! They didn't attach to the machine, so even my attempt to FORCE the paper onto the comb was useless. If I tried to adjust it, the entire comb flew off. I tried multiple times. And a joke, 450 sheets. It could barely punch 15-20. Again, I am a teacher and have used binding machines for decades. I'm super upset that I wasted SOOOO much money and time on this machine.

As a Realtor, I purchased this binding machine for listing presentations and for home information packets for buyers to look at as they tour the home and also to take with them if needed. I did purchase larger binder combs as my husband had printed a manual for our motorhome. I bound it and gave it to him and he was very happy. The machine works great, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've had no problems making comb-bound booklets with 8.5x11 (US letter) pages. Use the included cardboard sheet to do 6-8 test punches to clean the grease from the teeth. Slide the red size selector to the far left and ~10 pages punch easily. The teeth holes line up nicely within the 8.5" page length and all you need to do is trim the comb on the end (it is designed for 21 holes). The included 3/8" comb binders can hold about 20 pages if you are patient. The only caution I have is to only punch 1 sheet of clear plastic presentation covers at a time. The plastic is gummy enough that the teeth won't cut two or more at a time. One at a time, it works fine. I cut a full box of 100 plastic cover pages to test this unit before moving onto paper (10 sheets at a time). Very pleased with the value for money.
