Size:12"x 12"x 0.3"  |  Number of Items:2 Material: Obturator elastic material Package includes: 2 x 12 inch Hotbed Thermal Pad Insulation Foam Installation Notices: 1. Please clean the surface you want to paste. 2. Make insulation materials and sheet metal firm fit, and play best adhesive, damping performance 3. Do not cover the chassis wiring or air holes when you installation 4. Appropriate use of adhesive tape will strengthen connections effect 5. Paste Aluminum Soundproof/Damping Plate, you could heat with a hair dryer to make it soft, then compacted by hand. If the room temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius, first with sun lamp heating it until soft. Then remove the wax paper and paste it 6. A successful installation process is best not to repeat tear paste, paste effect won't be damaged 7. The extra insulation can be pasted in some hidden place.

Stabilize Bed Heat
Please note the size of your bed before purchasing, however...This product is easy to cut to size, it's nice and thick, the adhesive is durable and sticky, and the pad is compressible to minimize the impact on your bed leveling screws. After installing, I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference in my bed adhesion. I'm printing on a Monoprice Select Mini V1 on a modified glass bed. I got my first successful ABS print after applying this thermal pad and I had to adjust my bed heat down ~10 degrees C for PLA, as it was causing it to adhere too well! I've also noticed massively improved consistency while the bed is heating, with no more 2-3 degree variances while it climbs to target temp. Finally, once it is at target temp, I've noticed ~35% reduction in the heater powering up to maintain temp, as it holds the heat really well. For the price, I definitely recommend picking this up if you have an uninsulated, heated bed. It's preassembled with no need to go buy $20 worth of home improvement materials that you won't use 90% of in the end.

Good insulation but uneven adhesive surface.
Does a good job of keeping the heat on the heat bed bottom. That heat will then go through the heat bed and to the filament on the bed. It means less times your power supply must supply power. That also saves energy. The reason I didnt give it a full 5 stars was because the adhesive surface is very wrinkled out of the box and lots of troughs have formed in the foam. This will make the insulating properties somewhat uneven. But still even considering that, slightly uneven insulation is better than none at all.I have purchased these heat insulation sheets more than once.

Works well, but leaves a sticky black mess
I applied this to the underside of my heated bed and it does help for sure. My bed heats up faster and retains more heat. It was losing a lot of heat from the bottom previously and the bottom would be hot to the touch. Now the bottom is just slightly warm. The one down side to this is that it leaves a sticky black foam residue. If you plan on getting this, you should plan on keeping it on forever. Also, it came with 2 pads so if you have 2 printers with the same size heated bed, this is a great deal for you. I currently have my 2nd one sitting by just in case.

Worth the small investment.
Sheet works great, adhesive is super sticky. Make sure you know where you want it BEFORE trying to apply it. Definitely a single use item, not a even slight chance of reusing it. Cut heat up time by about 20 mins and help stabilize the temp.Total side note, my heat bed PCB shorted out (unrelated to the foam being installed) and actually charred the board. The smell was quite bad. But the insulation did not catch fire. It was also a little charred too but the foil lining was undamaged. So I can attest to it being somewhat non-flammable.

Light and thick and perfect fit
This insulation is basically foam with really REALLY sticky adhesive. I'm not sure mine will ever come off but that shouldn't matter. It's very light and thicker than I thought. It's about half an inch or 10 millimeters thick.I ran a couple of tests before and after install and here are my results:Before install: Minutes to heat bed (20 to 60 degrees Celsius) - 5m 30sAfter install: minutes to heat bed (same temp)!- 5mResolution: Shortened bed heating time NY 30 seconds.Time to cool down (60 - 30 degrees Celsius) before - 17 minutesTime to cool down after - 21 minutesResolution: Took four more minutes to cool down. I'd say 5-6 minutes if I waited till 20 degrees but that was taking too long. All in all, it's that price of mind that it's better than nothing at all.

Gamechanger
I had no idea this would make such a huge difference with the wanhao d6. The bed temps now heat up fast, stay stable, and cool down very slow. Im having to change my old settings and recalibrate to dial in perfect settings because the plate is alot hotter. I think layer adhesion and part adhesion are going to be tremendous with this

Easy way to improve 3D bed heating
For the cost it was a great easy upgrade. I have a CR-10 and was having trouble getting over 85 degrees C. The FYSETC 12" x 12" x 0.3" bumped bed temp up to 100 degrees. Easy installation but be careful when you peal off the adhesive backing, the adhesive really sticks to everything, fingers included. This just fixed my ABS print issues.

Heats faster now! Uses less power to keep it hot.
Pretty easy to install, speeds up heatbed heating quite a bit! You get 2, I installed the first one on my Anet E12, and it heats the bed faster than my smaller Anet E10.
