Good entry level roller; it's 12.25" in length, not 14.2" as listed in pic on Amazon
This works well and is a good budget model. For twice the price or more you do get more, but this provides all the basic benefits. Note that the pic on Amazon Indicates a length of 14.2 inches. That's not correct. It's about 12.25 inches in length, which is just long enough for my purposes. I wasn't sure if I'd like a vibrating foam roller. As it turned out I love it and bought another more expensive model, the Vulken 4 speed 17" roller. I like that one better. I appreciate the extra length for for rolling both legs at the same time. While the motor on the Balna model is fine, it's better on the Vulken. Vulken also has a feature to automatically cycle thru frequencies and comes with a carry bag. Bottom line: if you want to spend $40 and don't mind this is a touch on the narrow side, this is probably a very fine choice. If you don't mind spending $80-90 and you intend to use the product regularly, the Vulken is quite nice and recommended.

A bit gimmicky but still a good foam roller
PROS:- has 4 vibration strengths, the button cycles through them all- the strongest one is actually pretty good- the foam roller itself is extremely firm- grooves help hit the trigger points- easy to charge and cordless- the manual is hilarious "ontology" for the diagram of parts and "paid goods" for the diagram of the charger it comes with hahaCONS:- I don't really think the vibration will do much, but it does feel pretty goodEither way, it's still a solid foam roller.

Good for certain things, but not for all needs, and vibrations don't do much for me.
I expected this "E-Roller" to be better. It's an awesome product for relieving piriformis problems. Otherwise, The Balnna Roller and others of this type, doesn't seem better than the ordinary foam rollers, is less comfortable overall, and I didn't find the vibrations added much to the experience. Most of the superior, plain, foam rollers have some "give" in the outer material, and that makes them effective for most pain ridden parts of the body. The Theragun - a target specific, hand held tool for muscle release - is a better tool.

Stopped charging after a couple of months :(
I really really loved this product but the roller stopped charging after only a few months and now it no longer vibrates. I have a terrible back and loved the vibrating feature to break up fascia before a hard workout, but now my foam roller no longer vibrates and it's too late to return. Very sad and disappointed :(

Vibrating Foam Roller
I purchased this for my husband who has issues with tight muscels in his legs and back. Since I purchased this he has used it everyday and states it is helping him tremendously with his mobility by loosing up his back and legs. I will be purchasing another one as my children who play sports have tired it and and agree they feel with the power of the vibration they are getting a deeper release on their muscles. I would highly recommend. It may actually cut down on my massage bills!

Dense foam. Good for upper back. Too powerful to lie on it on lower back or neck.
This is a powerful massager! It is great for your shoulders, but i really think it is too strong to lean back on your neck or your lower back while vibrating. This roller is a very dense foam, about a half foot thick and over a foot long. When off, it makes a nice roller. I usually lean into a massager, but not this one. When it’s on, even in the lowest setting, it is intense. So i hold this in place, or lean gently on it in a chair, or maybe lean my upper back on it like in the listing. I think it could ruin my lower back or my neck if i lie on top of it, for real.

Best physical therapy device I have ever used
I have never used a fitness roller before this one. With that said I want to say that it actually works.. or i think. This vibrating roller is able to target problem area in which i need to work on during my work out. Best physical therapy device I have ever used. Very powerful on highest setting which is great for loosening up stiff muscles. I also use it to loosen up legs before track practice which makes warm-up time shorter and more efficient. Battery lasts a long time on single charge. This is very helpful for the back, neck, legs, shoulders, etc. The vibrations are more intense than I expected. I have found I’m able to sink into the roller on those tender areas like the quads bc the vibration helps to relax the muscle or distract from the pain.

Best!!!
I have this for 10 days now and really love it. It’s like having 3 devices in one: a foam roller, a tens unit, a massager. The foam part is made of a hard rubber, not as hard as a car tire, but not soft either. A regular fo roller when they first came out, was smooth made of hard foam. So it basically had one major use for it. The grid like areas help get into those tough spots to address trigger points, depending on how you position your body over it. It has 3 levels. I love it.
